IT Never Gets Old
(5:31) Back in the studio

Tom van der Zanden
(5:40) Q: Hi Aaron, I would like to rent out Blackmagic setup in the Netherlands. What would you buy to rent out as a set?

Jon Schwark
(6:50) Well, we got three continents already. Good work everyone!

Jon Schwark
(7:07) Enjoying the rain @Gwen Park ?

Tom van der Zanden
(7:25) I would rent it for events. now thinking for radio shows on external places.

Gwen Park
(8:28) Yes, rainy day in SF (or will be soon)

Tom van der Zanden
(8:57) I will set it up but i have a lot of friends who can / wants to operate

Jon Schwark
(10:30) I'd go above the ATEM mini line... then people who learned ATEM mini can use a real ATEM at their big show and not rip out their own setup at home or office

Jon Schwark
(10:42) yeah for non video people set up a osee gostream. keep it simple

BowlsPromoTV
(11:02) Q: really love to discuss the similarities of action replay on Director Mini and Yolobox Ultra. I want the instant replay but also to see them all at the end of the game as a wrap up and highlights

Omur Ozcan
(14:31) Renting can be a bit of a hassle. You don't know the condition of the devices you rent. They may be broken. There's also the issue of going to work and failing.

Omur Ozcan
(14:40) Similarly, renting your own devices and keeping them intact is a difficult situation.

Tom van der Zanden
(14:46) yeah i'm used to a setup with 2 M/E in a van. With wireless cams in the city/event terrain for report

Darkroom DJs
(15:06) I currently use a GoPro hero 10 for live streaming dj sets it is very glitchy. What alternative would you recommend? It’s a dark room intentionally and camera would be positioned close to the djs

Darkroom DJs
(16:35) It can be a bit bigger

Jon Schwark
(18:16) If you are using a blackmagic switcher, there are some nice little blackmagic studio cameras that might have good features for you

MattWRuff
(18:16) @David Hunte not sure with low light and the streaming on the DJI isn't all that good.

MattWRuff
(19:06) @Darkroom DJs ZV-E10 stay away from the kit zens

David Hunte
(19:29) @Aaron Parecki - What about using the DJI Pocket 3 for Livestreams? Have you ever done it?

David Hunte
(20:16) @Aaron Parecki - Have you used the Insta360 X4 for Webcams/Livestreams

Jon Schwark
(20:49) fixed lens is usually way better for low light at the same price, compared to zoom

MattWRuff
(21:03) True @Aaron Parecki but the kit lens for the ZV-E10 is extreme poor it like F3.5 to 5.6

AH377
(21:20) Pocket cameras or a nightmare to set up for Livestream

Stop & Think
(21:28) Elgato FaceCam Pro???

Darkroom DJs
(22:35) Thanks so much for all that amazing advice

Maximalion Tucker
(22:41) Q I built your Zoom set up with the streamer racks and Director mini I’m wanting to use it for live streaming on YouTube with the addition of a top to bottom camera. Any recommendations?

Maximalion Tucker
(23:35) Sorry, overhead camera

David Hunte
(25:00) I meant OBSBOT Tiny 2

IT Never Gets Old
(25:38) Gee that PTZ camera is sure handy ;)

BowlsPromoTV
(28:28) Q: really love to discuss the similarities of action replay on Director Mini and Yolobox Ultra. I want the instant replay but also to see them all at the end of the game as a wrap up and highlights

BowlsPromoTV
(33:07) One of them apparently will save the instant while it’s playing with a touch somewhere

David Hunte
(33:15) @Aaron Parecki - Oh a question I wanted to ask - Have you used Davinci Resolve for Replay (since you're talking about it)

Rich Davis
(35:10) 10 mins in and nothing broken 😞 😴

MattWRuff
(35:28) @Aaron Parecki I think you can rename to Ultra replay clips

MattWRuff
(36:16) Maybe that something they said there adding

Graham Rule
(36:20) When did you last test your UPS?

Burak Yalcin
(37:01) @Aaron Parecki I have a problem that ı have struggling a lot with. I am trying to use magewell director mini to stream as a srt caller and use my laptop with obs as srt listener do you have any idea

Burak Yalcin
(37:59) my maın thıng ıs ı am tryıng to do bıke streams and they told me srt ıs the best option to have a reliable stream connectıon

Nils Braune
(38:15) @Aaron Parecki Media source.

genamb
(42:29) Wait, OBS is counter-intuitive?

Burak Yalcin
(42:32) tbh ı just want the solutıon ı would buy anythıng ıf ıts gonna work out lol ı am so frustrated

Burak Yalcin
(42:42) @Aaron Parecki so ıt works when its the same internet but when your director mini is connected to another internet i guess you have to do port forwardıng to reach out the pc or something like that

Burak Yalcin
(44:30) and ıt has to be a statıc ıp ı suppose

BowlsPromoTV
(45:03) Can you tell us dummies what you just did

Burak Yalcin
(47:59) do you think it would be more reliable while on the bike

Adam West
(48:25) You could use your Tailscale setup to avoid port forwarding

WutrUduin?
(49:26) Q How many new watchers do we have? Is it time for a refresher on how to search past streams?

Burak Yalcin
(50:43) whats that device

Gwen Park
(50:44) @Burak Yalcin GL.iNet router. There are several flavors of it.

WutrUduin?
(52:18) IF I ever find a subject to repeatedly stream about, I've got to figure out how he does that search thing.

Burak Yalcin
(52:45) @Aaron Parecki and last question the device you were talkıng about magewell encoder to use it as a listener. Do i have to do port forwarding also for that device or no ?

Irshaad Abdool
(53:54) Hello from Mauritius

Kanan St.Rose
(53:56)

Let Your Nerd Be Heard
(54:08) yes you should go thru tailscale. I am actually configuring mine right now

Adam West
(54:12) A Tailscale tutorial would be good as a standalone video too

Fontastic
(54:16) Tailscale will add SOME latency due to the encryption.

Andrew Francis
(54:42) Cloudflare Stream is also a good middle point for SRT routing.

Richard Walker
(56:29) Let’s break something… live

Adam West
(1:10:43) Check to see if your phone is using mobile data and not your wifi

Burak Yalcin
(1:11:25) Thats what ı have been asking to myself for weeks lol What am i missing

Richard Walker
(1:11:35) Have you tried turning it off and on again?

IT Never Gets Old
(1:13:11) Time for that M4 Mac Mini in the studio

Fontastic
(1:15:27) I think the router itself can get to the mac and vice versa. But the director mini is not running Tailscale...

Burak Yalcin
(1:20:46) You said it is almost too easy i think you jnxed it lol

MattWRuff
(1:20:57) @Eric Likness I went to refill my tea and I'm totally lost

Burak Yalcin
(1:21:01) so pc shouldnt be connected to internet ?

Adam West
(1:21:23) You need to undo everything and start from scratch to make sure that wasn't a fluke 😂

Adam West
(1:21:24) You need to undo everything and start from scratch to make sure that wasn't a fluke 😂

WutrUduin?
(1:21:47) Q Can take 2 mini routers with Tailscale pluged in as clients on separate networks and have full access to either network from the other or do devices I want to see have to be downstream of routers?

Jon Schwark
(1:23:05) We are all just part of Aaron's rehearsal.

Richard Walker
(1:23:09) So you could record in OBS whatever is happening in the field?

Burak Yalcin
(1:25:04) Yeah that would be a good video content i couldnt find any video for magewell with srt explaning fully

Let Your Nerd Be Heard
(1:25:08) Q: thoughts on where you should create the exit node?

WutrUduin?
(1:25:59) Q So if I forget to turn off the camera before leaving the venue, I can use my duplicate copy of Companion at home and hit the button that makes the cameras sleep as they point to the same Camera IP?

Let Your Nerd Be Heard
(1:28:06) Q: when traveling and working on unsecure wifi, it sounds like you need an exit node else you computer traffic will be run over the wifi instead of thru vpn.

MHD Studio
(1:28:47) Hey there, do you know how to setup camera that can show the presenter eyes visible properly on both cameras? Like I have one wide and close up camera. How do I place them? Any idea. Its a lecture typ

MHD Studio
(1:31:01) Will it feel like he is looking intoit?

Burak Yalcin
(1:31:14)

Burak Yalcin
(1:31:27)

Irshaad Abdool
(1:31:39) Do you mind doing a followup tutorial for your raspberry pi streaming bridge?

Speakeasy Audiovisual
(1:35:39) I’ve been using a few stick PCs configured with TS so I can drop them in my remote networks to have quick access. Works very well. In addition to the travel routers.

Irshaad Abdool
(1:36:17) If it is linux you can sideload tailscale or zerotier

Irshaad Abdool
(1:38:11) Try the user you use to login to the web panel

WutrUduin?
(1:38:17) Q What do you think is more efficient: Many devices with Tailscale going through a router or the router sending all traffic to Tailscale. Or any VPN for that matter?

Speakeasy Audiovisual
(1:39:24) I mainly use the Mele stick PCs for control access. To control remote Yamaha PM and CL consoles.

MattWRuff
(1:39:50) We need the confetti that members can play. Not that I have figured out how to do it..

Scott Jarriel
(1:40:39) Q: For the Zowietek cameras, the ssh login default is admin and admin

IT Never Gets Old
(1:40:45) Are you thinking a Tailscale endpoint in its own VLAN?

IT Never Gets Old
(1:40:48) Are you thinking a Tailscale endpoint in its own VLAN?

Let Your Nerd Be Heard
(1:41:23) Q: For the router, you would do the OpenWRT upgrade that TailScale is saying you should do when you are on the management page?

Let Your Nerd Be Heard
(1:42:37) @Aaron Parecki it was a question. go to the list of all devices

Irshaad Abdool
(1:43:01) Does ndi work on TS?

Eric Likness
(1:47:37) Q: If NDI tailscales, does SMPTE2110 tailscale too?

Scott Jarriel
(1:48:01) Q: Did you try the same credentials you are using for the web interface? I'm curious about whether they are using them same account for both.

MattWRuff
(1:48:23) Hey I figured it out and I see the button. Thanks @Aaron Parecki Yeah we definite need confetti for Celebration of success !

HILL GAMING YT
(1:48:33) I could not able to bring my gostream deck switcher to v mix what may be the reason and it's error is shown as Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service.

MattWRuff
(1:49:04) Q: @Aaron Parecki is the Maxwell Director/OBSBOT Talent your favorite GOTO mobile device? Pocket 3 works on it right?

Speakeasy Audiovisual
(1:50:21) I have not had success picking up ndi over TailScale. If anyone finds a way, I’m all ears.

MattWRuff
(1:51:02) Past the 90 minute mark

Irshaad Abdool
(1:51:10) Can you do a walkthru of the zowietek anytime soon?

Nils Braune
(1:51:46) Does mDNS work over Tailscale? Is that the problem with NDI?

Adam West
(1:53:01) Interesting stream today! There aren't enough broadcast tech YouTubers

MattWRuff
(1:53:12) Off to Curtis Judd at the top of the hour

Eric Likness
(1:53:21) Train an AI using your back catalog, and let the Hallucinations Begin! 👍

Irshaad Abdool
(1:53:26) Get an AI double of yourself lol

Burak Yalcin
(1:54:56) @Aaron Parecki I have a problem that ı have struggling a lot with. I am trying to use magewell director mini to stream as a srt caller and use my laptop with obs as srt listener do you have any idea

Nils Braune
(1:56:28) "Is a Gopro good for streaming".

Irshaad Abdool
(1:57:39) Can we jailbreak it into badGpt like they used to do on chatgpt

Nils Braune
(1:57:44) More trining needed.

Eric Likness
(1:57:49) Gosh, now I can just ask PKGPT and spend 2hrs. each Sunday doing "other things" 😸

Vaughn Hazell
(1:57:54) 5 more years and ai will render humans useless

Nils Braune
(1:58:06) @Aaron Parecki Stream for one hour, record segments after. Like a non-interactive second hour.

Andrew Francis
(1:59:52) Don't automate your hobby away Aaron!

Mike Nun
(2:00:05) Thanks as always! If you do not learn something on @aaron live stream, you aren’t paying attention!

Andrew Francis
(2:01:17) Thank you, great stream - learning lots.

Eric Likness

Eric Likness
