elthenerd
(7:15) Hey Elaine from Toronto, Canada!

Dennis Whipple
(7:47) Long Beach, CA

Mike Merrill
(7:49) Hi from Los Angeles

iDJMic
(8:15) Looks like the Director Mini has much more options for customization of screens, PIP and green screens overlays is much more complicated to make and do on the Yolobox. Hope they fix it.

Jonathan Palmer
(9:15) Q: Can you make a companion button flash. For example I made a REC button for the hyperdeck and have feedback set to color but it would be cool if it flashed to let me know it was recording.

Graham Rule
(11:34) Q: Do you know if YouTube is handling VBR from ATEMs differently now? I've had viewers experience buffering when slides are showing.

MattWRuff
(12:52) Q: So it a know bug that recorded video on the Yolo Ultra 1.7 you get no audio right?

Peter Gillespie
(13:10) Q Aaron - is it the Behringer X you use for sound, if so how much can Companion be used to control it - could companion mute a channel and change the output channel a mic is going to?

OzShadow
(15:54) Ahh i have a x-air 18 and its a great workhourse

MattWRuff
(18:11) @TechnoBuz 👏👏👏👏

Gwen Park
(18:16) Isn't messing up these weekly livestreams part of the fun? lol

Graham Rule
(18:31) @Aaron Parecki No buffering but stats for nerds showed red in network activity. Thanks for trying it for me.

elthenerd
(18:44) q: if you had to build a portable rig to do conference livestreaming and recordings today, what equipment would you pick to use?

elthenerd
(19:37) that's correct, csv,conf!

elthenerd
(20:37) q: if you had to build a portable rig to do conference livestreaming and recordings today, what equipment would you pick to use?

OzShadow
(21:17) the first question should always be the budget.

IT Never Gets Old
(22:10) Q: For Conferences it is really nice to have at least two AUX outs so you can do the projector

Pier Fishing in California
(24:26) Q: Your live stream looks great! What bitrate do you stream at? What camera do you use? Can the same quality be had with the Yolobox Mini?

Rene Brunken
(25:26) Q: how is the streaming stability of the Osee switcher compared to the Atem mini pro.

CircuitBaker
(27:06) Q: Hi, have you come across the software Chataigne? Seems like a really powerful open source production control software for both control logic and timeline playback.

elthenerd
(27:24) and yes was thinking with staffing it with volunteers again. lol.

ART Audio
(29:30) Hello from snowed in Kingston Ontario.

MattWRuff
(29:41) @elthenerd That why I use ATEM iso Pro so I get iso recording.

Marine X
(30:09) 😂 don't touch, look, or breathe on anything. stare at this button and make sure it stays red

Gwen Park
(30:16) If volunteeers are involved, I often use Ecamm Live. I set everything up and then give a quickie 5 min tutorial. It's generally pretty intuitive for Mac users.

True24FPS
(30:44) What would you recommend for a one man band live streaming with 2 cameras, between ITEM Extreme ISO and Yolo Box Ultra?

TVJAY
(33:35) when I setup vMix I found giving them a stream deck with only the buttons that matter and simple names

Gwen Park
(33:48) I also close the windows they don't need

Sven Lakemeier
(33:54) In my experience treating volunteers like they can't be trusted with anything causes the volunteers to behave in this way. I always prefer some trust and training

MattWRuff
(34:18) @Gwen Park I prefer hardmare to software (I'm 64 been burned by software to many times)

Marine X
(34:24) I always think of a scene in Forrest Gump. Forrest began to talk at the National Mall in Wash DC & a random Officer pulled every cord from the sound board. I always thought "who leaves that unmanned?"

MattWRuff
(34:46) @elthenerd - I designed a small rig for the breakout (panel discussion) we Went with a Rodecaster Pro 2 for audio and audio recording and the video was a ATEM MiniPro ISO with no livestream (Vol run)

IT Never Gets Old
(34:57) Gotta run the UPS test again soon

MattWRuff
(35:27) @Aaron Parecki Just got back from Daytona You should see the FoxSport Control truck, They wouldn't let me take pictures.

Mike Merrill
(35:36) CHANGE EVERYTHING!

Mike Merrill
(36:47) what is that head?!?!

Mike Merrill
(36:49) oh, it's helga

ART Audio
(42:10) Have to add a second floor

Nils Braune
(42:33) @ART Audio There is a second floor, and it was a studio set for a while, but now it's cat territory.

ART Audio
(42:53) I guess it’s time for a basement then.

Mike Merrill
(43:18) how important is having access to the back of the desk?

Marine X
(43:46) key question. real or fake plants? my ivy does well in my garage studio. my lily not so much

iDJMic
(44:10) Where does the pull down green screen go?

Graham Rule
(44:34) How different a setup do you need for your work meetings?

Morris Getman
(45:39) @Aaron Parecki: Sorry for my 5cents, but the chairs in the corner seem to be too crammed together for a good looking podcast setup. You may want to consider some distance from the wall and foot room.

Mike Merrill
(46:37) Maybe get smaller chairs? ;)

IT Never Gets Old
(46:52) Q: For your training streams how much gear do you need to control (i.e. slides or code windows)?

iDJMic
(47:34) On the plus side you can play footsies with the person you sit with.

MattWRuff
(47:41) @Aaron Parecki can't help it I know the disease I have it to I keep changing everything

Koala20
(47:47) Q: what size is the screen in the background?

Roland Rilling
(47:58) Hallo everyone from Zürich, Switzerland

Gwen Park
(48:01) wheels on the chairs to move them away from the wall easily when recording, against wall when not?

Marine X
(51:48) my lights are on 6.5" baby pins on the ceiling. I love that I nearly have nothing on my floors.

Marine X
(52:36) my lights are on 6.5" baby pins on the ceiling. I love that I nearly have nothing on my floors.

Mike Merrill
(52:43) You should definitely install a lighting grid on your ceiling!

IT Never Gets Old
(52:57) Q: One of the reasons I deployed PTZs in my studio is so I can change stuff without having to remount the cameras

Jonathan Palmer
(53:08) Q: I stepped away but saw you answered the cmpn flash button, Thx. Is there a way to show a counter up from 0 on the button by chance?

MotherBee
(54:00) The ceiling rail is the best @aaronparecki

Eric Likness
(54:05) I know seeing MotherBee's lighting grid in New Zealand made me jealous.

Scott Jarriel
(54:10) Q: Have you considered adding a second curtain track and putting a sliding green screen on that? Works well for my wife in her office/studio.

Adam West
(54:29) It would be a shame not to have the rack in the background of your shot

iDJMic
(55:01) Q: @Aaron Parecki what audio interface do you use in your portable setup? If you are on a tripod with multiple microphones.

Gwen Park
(55:27) Green screen + Unreal to put the rack back in the shot

MattWRuff
(55:38) Sp after you finish the house you build a whole new office...simple....$$$$$

GBS TITANS HOCKEY!
(55:56) I also livestream hockey and looking for a scoreboard solution for YBU with powerplay clock and remote control

Morris Getman
(56:34) @Aaron Parecki Q: Have you considered going all in on greenscreen for everything apart from this live show and perhaps the chair podcast thing? (I mean of course you have)

Mike Merrill
(1:01:29) I have an idea called "Basketball 2" that is like basketball but there are 2 balls in play... maybe you could livestream it as practice with sports.

iDJMic
(1:01:43) Imagine your current background aside from the TV being a photo on a green screen!!

Nils Braune
(1:01:49) Decorating a virtual studio is just as much work a decorating a real studio in many cases.

Hans Winzell
(1:02:05) So confusing with so many Aarons in the same frame :)

Daron Green
(1:02:12) Having tested/used both - Osee green screen functionality not as good as Atem. I found it often struggles if background is even slightly variable in the green tone.

MT Steuerung
(1:02:46) @Daron Green .. so it seems logic to use a ATEM just for Greenscreen and fill in the result in the Osee

Steve
(1:05:58) q if you use a regular atem mini just for greenscreen, can you get the out in alpha channel?

Emmanuel Francis
(1:06:27) Does it have a media pool like the Atem?

MT Steuerung
(1:08:44) Q - would the add a "Flip-Cap" over the on/ off Button??

Gwen Park
(1:08:55) Q: is Osee picky about video formats? like BMD products?

Daron Green
(1:09:36) The osee documentation is very sparse/poor.

Gwen Park
(1:11:23) Q: sorry, i meant pre-recorded videos in media pool

Caleb Loves Tech
(1:12:34) If I were to start a livestream when my neighbor was doing a livestream, would we collectively break the internet? I think we might! j/K, of course. Cheers, Aaron!

DEMARCO MUSIC
(1:12:47) I'm using the YOLOLIV INSTREAM with my Apollo Interface going into the Line in on the INTSTREAM but i cant hear my guest when i bring them on to my TIKTOK or INSTAGRAM how can i get this to work?

ART Audio
(1:15:04) Q: Do you notice the Osee getting a bit warm? How long have you had it on today?

ART Audio
(1:16:44) Definitely needs some cooling?

Daron Green
(1:17:11) Osee media pool accesses its SD card so there is no real limit on number of files - similarly for video files. The problem is accessing through the small window on the multiview and the scroll wheel.

Nils Braune
(1:19:51) The whole bottom plate is the heat sink for the main chip. But I've streamed with it for ten hours straight without a hitch.

Marine X
(1:20:02) I think the osee only has passive cooling or am I mistaken?

Gwen Park
(1:20:28) Not sure if you accidentally hit something or if it's a bug, but aux blinked to black a few times while you scrolled through stills

Emmanuel Francis
(1:20:58) Any chance they will make a bigger unit, like a 12 channel with SDI and HDMi combined and Auxes as well? The 8 on the Atem mini line are not enough.

iDJMic
(1:21:34) Drop down ceiling shelving? 😂🤣

Koala20
(1:21:40) Adding ceiling shelving to the list of ideas 😂

iDJMic
(1:21:45) Q: What is the biggest feature you are missing on the YoloBox that would prevent you from using it? Feature that you wish it had the most.

Koala20
(1:22:40) Drop down couch 😂 so many ideas

Craig Creque
(1:22:45) My yolobox started behaving weird on my last livestream. The stream dropped and the screen froze, and locked up. Could not power it down until I disconnected everything. Any advice.bought 3 mon ago

DEMARCO MUSIC
(1:23:12) thank you Aaron so the streamer X is the solution?

ART Audio
(1:23:42) Would getting it off the table be a good idea?

Daron Green
(1:24:06) It just is inefficient to have to always go through the list - they added groups for vid and image folders but no documentation on how to navigate

Craig Creque
(1:24:27) I’ve had problems with the atem mini encoders continous full buffers. What are some alternatives that you recommend?

Gwen Park
(1:25:51) I like the idea of a couch descending dramatically from the ceiling. Maybe with smoke and lights and sound effetcs.

MT Steuerung
(1:26:01) Q - a Osee PK Stand soon .. ??

Daron Green
(1:26:09) The recent update broke all the old macros and renamed folders which made a lot of things break.

Nils Braune
(1:26:35) M-m-m-m-m-m-m-ultiball!

Craig Creque
(1:27:16) @Aaron… Good day , can you recommend great encoders that are reliable, for outdoor livestreams

VIDEOGRAMPOINTBIZ
(1:28:16) Q sO HOW DO YOU LIKE THE osee?

Ville Louko
(1:30:55) Thanks Aaron and community. 😊

ART Audio
(1:31:03) Heading out to start shoveling. Have a great start to your week.

Raul Espinosa
(1:32:22) smash the like button!!

Jon Schwark
(1:32:26) Have a good week Aaron!

enblanco
(1:32:28) Hi there from Benidorm, Sunny Spain. Long time no see

MattWRuff
(1:42:55) Have a nice week everyone... see you next week!
