Questions
Chris Lai
(5:58) @Aaron Parecki love the mid-week upload. I totally appreciate you only include stuff that you actually paid to have instead of being asked to review.
Philip Meuschke
(7:47) Q: Is anyone else still seeing a pixel or two of what I'm guessing is the sidebar Keynote presentation on the right side of the Program feed?
Andre Yanco
(7:51) @Aaron Parecki It looks like a key is bleeding vertically on the right 🙂
Roland Dobbins
(8:37) @Aaron Parecki — it’s on your left, ‘stage right’.
Chris Lai
(8:48) @Aaron Parecki yeah there is about a 1 pixel wide leftover
Andre Yanco
(10:51) @Aaron Parecki No actually it is still there
Philip Meuschke
(10:53) @Aaron Parecki - Yes, it went away when you put the keyed off-air
Roland Dobbins
(12:00) @Aaron Parecki — it disappeared when you went to SuperSource.
Bailey Stone
(12:09) @Aaron Parecki I think it hasn't cropped properly, so there is a tiny little bit of the edge still showing the video.
Andre Yanco
(12:15) @Aaron Parecki Definitely gone with 33
Mike Ryan
(12:16) @Aaron Parecki When you changed to 33 it was fixed.
Chris Lai
(12:41) 33 fixed it, @Aaron Parecki like I said it's only about 1 pixel wide.
Randy Dees
(12:47) @Aaron Parecki definitly still seeing it ex\ven in supersource. can see turning on and off.
Chris Lai
(12:53) @Aaron Parecki you can't see it because you are just seeing black. It's gone, now.
Randy Dees
(13:26) @Aaron Parecki fixed it now
Bailey Stone
(13:41) Part of it was just because of the darker gradient on the right, I could only see it on the SS when it was on your background
Chris Lai
(15:03) It is less than 10 minutes in, and @Aaron Parecki already showed us how to troubleshoot.
Philip Meuschke
(15:08) @Aaron Parecki - I wonder if the program feed in the WebPresenter and/or the ATEM Multi-View crops the feed by a couple of pixels due to the "frame" around the program feed in those views?
Philip Meuschke
(18:21) @Chris Lai - Another way to look at that is we're less than 10 minutes in, and we've already derailed all of @Aaron's plans for the stream today. 😂🤣
Joe Pereira
(18:38) @Aaron Pareki the Table 3 cam is triggering my OCD and the outlet behind you is very visual.
Carl Wikman
(20:00) Q: what kept the DJI Mini 2 off the list?
Kauto Huopio
(22:40) @AaronParecki that daylight time is in the Arctic Circle..in Helsinki it is a couple of hours more.
Tech Condo
(23:10) I unfortunately live in a no fly zone so unfortunately I can’t even fly a drone the first 50 kilometers from my home
AlonzoJT
(23:27) @AaronParecki what bitrate are streaming at?
FlorinBlaga
(24:08) Hi from Roamnia!!! I need a good setup for a church live streaming wit one camera, what do you recomand? Thanks
Andre Yanco
(27:31) @Aaron Parecki I would say either a ZV-E10 or an A6400 for starters unless you go for way more expensive PTZ gear
kamileq
(28:21) What about new Sony zv-e10?
Quilla Landrum Jr.
(29:17) we use a ptz optics 20x, mounted on back wall about 60 feet to the front.
Graham Rule
(29:29) I use a PTZ Optics remote controlled camera at the church I work in (and a cheap Chinese clone).
Andre Yanco
(30:25) @Aaron Parecki Bothe the ZV-E10 and the A6400 use the same battery. So common Dummy battery 🙂
Roland Dobbins
(30:32) I had good luck with USB power for both the ZV1 & the RX100 VII. ;>
Lindhaga
(31:25) Another tip is to buy a better camera then a cheap one. PTZ Optics is a nice PTZ camera¨
Filip Pettersson
(33:04) I do a weekly company internal event with a Sony ZV-1 and a Elgato Camlink 4K as the HDMI->USB. (not usb-stream from the cameras as you cannot record to SD and live stream direct to USB)
Ed Heiger
(33:28) having trouble with atem minipro streaming, cache starts filling...fairly confident it's not network, only fix is pulling the net cable plug it back in and it recovers. anyone else see this?
Keith Bennett
(34:51) Hi Aaron! Good Sunday Stream to you and to the crowd.
Harald Selke
(34:57) @Andre Yanco I‘ve been using the ZV-1 for more than a year now powered through USB – never had a single problem
Philip Meuschke
(35:07) We actually upgraded from 3 to 4 PTZ cameras at my church during the pandemic, and I'm now at a point where I'd actually love to have at least one or two more... 😂🤣😅 lol.
Andre Yanco
(35:25) @Roland Dobbins Interesting. I also got pretty good times with the A6400. But with the ZV-1 3 hours starts to kill it off
Wouter Koelewijn
(35:45) Q: How did/do you focus the Lumix G7 as there no Bluetooth of wfi possible during cleanfeed on HDMI
Bailey Stone
(38:47) Q: Not specifically related to the stream today, but after watching PhotoJoseph do his new 40x40 router, are you less or more likely to get the larger one?
Axel Cleveland
(40:36) I have both sdi running to microconverters out to hdmi on atem. What do i use the hdmi in and out on Hyperdeck Studio Hd Plus?
Chris Lai
(42:46) Q: the 64 for the next milestone as a gift to yourself?
Bailey Stone
(43:13) @Aaron Parecki Blackmagic's naming scheme is almost as bad as Apple's new Phone Lineup names.
Dominic DiTanna
(43:27) Q: Atem mini pro Q! If I live-stream to OBS with it and use a focusrite for audio, I’m getting really bad audio drag. How to keep in sync?
Bailey Stone
(44:54) @Dominic DiTanna OBS has a delay in-built, you should be able to use the effects
Pat Richard
(45:32) Does the 64 port matrix support Companion?
Dominic DiTanna
(46:11) I also recorded already a whole 2.5 podcast with serious audio drag…any way to salavage that footage?
Roland Dobbins
(48:51) @Dominic DiTanna — use DaVinci Resolve to re-align the audio with the video?
Dominic DiTanna
(50:32) It’s throughout the whole video. It goes in and out! I already tried reencoding it with handbrake with no luck.
Philip Meuschke
(50:50) Q: Do you have any guesses/predictions as to when Blackmagic might have their next big product announcement livestream?
Chris Lai
(51:36) @Aaron Parecki a full-size foam figure of you.....that's an idea.... 😀
Andre Yanco
(51:41) @Aaron Parecki We will call your cube the "focus cube" from now on 🙂
6 Minute Media
(51:46) Q: Anyone want a foam Aaron (life size) for focus / lighting setup? Merch?
Pat Richard
(51:55) Q: Does the 64 support Companion?
Roland Dobbins
(51:58) @Aaron Parecki — is the Aja controllable via Companion and/or OSC?
Keith Bennett
(52:04) Q: Does it have the same great interface that your video hub has? BMD..
Roland Dobbins
(53:37) @Aaron Parecki — I got an MR18 like yours. Very non-intuitive to set up the routing through FX, & all the videos/docs were ‘insider baseball’ in terms of lingo. Took a while to figure it all out.
Axel Cleveland
(58:27) What's the easiest and quickest way to load graphics on sd card to play on Hyperdeck Studio Hd Plus. I want to use the key and fill option not hdmi. Demonstration for dummy much appreciated.
Keith Bennett
(1:06:07) Got to go, thanks again for your continued hands on demos and live streams! Perhaps BMD will some day update that Video Hub application..
Eric Likness
(1:10:31) @Aaron Parecki I noticed in Apple Preview it wasn't moving either.
MT Steuerung
(1:10:33) .. it's frozen .. becaus it's to cold
Anne Stellingwerf
(1:10:36) The clip didn't seem to be playing the the MacOS preview either
Kauto Huopio
(1:10:36) Q:Do you know any sensible and affordable cloud-based channel playout/MCR solutions? (not just a stream redist but virtual mixer with multi input etc
Graham Rule
(1:12:07) Watching from a pub tonight so thought I'd better buy you a drink. Loving the frozen snow.
Abdullah-Ibrahim Ahmad
(1:12:53) streamyard is best. i use it all the time
Chris Lai
(1:13:10) We just switched to a cooking show mode "because of time, here is what I cooked up before hand".....
Bailey Stone
(1:13:20) @Aaron Parecki the stream is so "live", that your chat extension bring the superchat up before it comes up in my chat window!
Philip Meuschke
(1:13:36) @Aaron Parecki - Haven't you said before that the HyperDeck gets finicky about various file formats and frame rates on the SD card? Do you need to delete the first "Snow with Alpha" from the card?
Philip Meuschke
(1:16:03) @Aaron Parecki - But if that file is somehow corrupted, would that maybe mess with it? Maybe delete the file and then power cycle the Hyperdeck?
Roland Dobbins
(1:16:59) @Aaron Parecki — the Hyperdecks seem to be too hypersensitive, that’s why I haven’t bought one. And the promised software update to make them more accepting of file format variance hasn’t appeared.
Andre Yanco
(1:18:17) @Aaron Parecki Told you: We can call it the HYPERDECKHALTER
Chris Lai
(1:18:37) BMD, take serious note.
Lindhaga
(1:18:42) Had an event last year and played a corrupt videofile in playoutbee and that made tha atem hanged for like 5 sec. Think its something woth the communication between them.
Sven Lakemeier
(1:19:29) Well, they are tools for professionals. Every profession has its own lingo. Imagine every video on this channel about one video mixer starting with explaining what HDMI is or what "Preview" means
Michael Jones
(1:20:27) Have you tested the BM Studio Converter with Studio Cam Pro? I would love to see an ATEM that has this converter built in for ethernet to cameras.
Bailey Stone
(1:21:13) @Aaron Parecki maybe BMD should hire you to stress-test products
MT Steuerung
(1:21:17) Always check twice the files go get from a client to avoid any problem during a show ..
Joe's Phenomenal
(1:21:34) @Aaron Parecki hey.. thanks for the yolobox pro review! helped me decide on my stream hardware for next month! Love the usb-c support for my streamcams. gonna be getting the stand from you, too
Felix Diehlmann
(1:22:07) @Aaron Parecki - Do you still use the M5Sticks „directly“ als Tally Lights, or did you change to Tally Arbiter? Any Videos planned regarding the Arbiter? ;)
Bailey Stone
(1:22:42) @Aaron Parecki "We're gonna wrap up soon"... famous last words
RocksAnne Merlins Fantasy Farm
(1:22:45) @Aaron Parecki : Back to X Air Software.. I has to double check: I can press the "Compressor" Botton and it reacts (everywhre I find it fo rthis channel).
Axel Cleveland
(1:24:24) Q...how long is the shipping on the yolobox stand. I ordered on yesterday to ohio.
Randy Dees
(1:25:46) @Aaron Parecki Try the Mixin Station Pro software. much more intuitive Audio interface for XAIR and other mixers.
Roland Dobbins
(1:25:54) @Randy Dees — I found Mixing Station even less intuitive than the Behringer software, heh.
Randy Dees
(1:27:11) @Roland Dobbins i guess it depends on your background... moved from analog mixers into the digital world 6 year ago.
Chris Lai
(1:30:30) WHAT!? Didn't make it to 2 hours!
