(14:46) I really don’t like the ATEM software control, for the higher end machines it’s good, but for the ATEM Mini’s (meant for consumers) and it’s just complex. Would like an easier interface.

(28:46) @Aaron Parecki Can you recommend an audio embedder? Preferably to HDMI. I'm finding the ATEM extreme 3.5mm input unreliable. Could be a cable issue but like the idea of trying alternative approach.

(29:07) @Roland Dobbins For more complex audio work i mix on an x32. I then send mixed audio out on XLR outs. I've been running into intermittent signal with 3.5mm jack input. I don't like it at all tbh!

(30:34) Q: have you noticed that in the YouTube chat, when someone mentions your name, the little highlight is a lighter orange than it used to be. Could just be me though

(1:01:23) @Chris — yes, ensure you use the right cable, ensure they’re plugged into the same mains circuit, use a ground loop eliminator, and ensure the input is set correctly to line level.

(1:01:48) Q: Would you recommend using a RasPi for controlling a stream deck in a professional production?

(1:14:24) @Aaron Parecki — Tapo WiFi-enabled AC plugs work well for me for turning all my studio equipment on/off from my phone, including the ATEM.

(1:15:09) Q: I have a problem with my Canon 70D. it turns off after 30 minutes.. (not really a Yolo question but a camera on Yolo question.

(1:15:38) @Ben Lombard Unfortunately, many Canon cameras switch off after 30 minutes – not just when recording

(1:15:48) Roland.. camera not recording, just filming.. did the setting thing but still only 30 min.

(1:16:20) Canon is a pain in the butt cause they leave the no record limit to their cinema line-up. Which is over $1,500
