(14:42) I literally use VMix just for instant replay and it's great!

(14:48) For bigger shows I only use vMix for playout and lowerthirds (and replay)

(15:13) For me vMix is almost always part of the production. For small production vMix is putting the show together (ingesting camera’s, lower thirds, playout and stream).

(21:31) We just had a gig with audio issues with Windows. That was a harrowing time trying to figure out what was going on there.

(26:49) 8 people for broadcast, and 2 people for Internet stream. Yup! seems about right.

(26:54) We use SRT every week for out church service. We have a kiloview encoder that pushes out SRT and we receive it via vMix. 4 years. Every week, never issues

(1:16:45) What is the typical latency on RTMP, tried setting up a local RTMP server and used my DJI drone to stream to it. Delay was 10+ seconds.

(1:19:13) I'm experimenting with Zoom ISO and one of the limitations with resolution is the remote guest camera plus their network connection etc., all influence what zoom negotiates 🙂

(1:20:24) Seems like on Jay's end it's just a Zoom call, but for Aaron it's a way to cleanly get his isolated feed out without a computer outputting HDMI.

(1:20:47) Definitely a plus for the guest to click a Zoom link to join.

(1:22:15) This is actually a good demo for the Epiphan Cloud, definitely. Knowing the guest end only needs a Zoom client. 👍

(1:26:10) And if you put network censors/standards & practices in the delay loop (for live tv) they add another delay so they can scrub out profanity
