MattWRuff
(9:06) @Aaron Parecki Yesterday 65 gosh that old!

Gwen Park
(9:11) Q: BTS at your location gigs would be awesome! if you can swing it!

Robert Gibson
(9:45) Q - Has anyone heard when the BMD Replay Controller is going to be shipped?

Emerald Audiovisual
(10:30) I'm just after finishing the first edit of a 3 hour concert recorded with 4 cameras. The editing afterwards takes up tons of time.

IT Never Gets Old
(11:30) Q: Does your portable rig have to be bike friendly (i.e. transportable on the bike)

Gwen Park
(12:16) @Emerald Audiovisual one of my favorite things about livestreams is that when you finish streaming, you're done. I hate how time consuming post can take.

Noel Del Pilar
(12:44) Any solution to livestream a live event for a client (talent show) on Facebook and avoid copyright issues with music?

Robert Linkroum
(13:41) Q ? • In your studio, can you discuss the patch type connectors on the right side rack (Lower) , HDMI and other connections..? Type and Vendor..?

Gwen Park
(18:40) Copyrighted music is also a nightmare if you DO have rights unless you have a direct contact at FB or YT. AFAIK, there's no easy way to tell them/prove you have permission.

IT Never Gets Old
(21:21) Q: What did you have to do to get the classic Mac running? Just storage replacement or did you have to do other stuff like recapping etc.?

Hans Winzell
(23:13) Pico Pi it is called

Keith Bennett
(23:25) Thoughts on the Web Presenter long term and having that on your confidence monitor with all the streaming data?

Peteleeds1303
(27:05) How do you get srt added to YouTube

MattWRuff
(27:31) @Aaron Parecki I was doing work for a major Country star and YouTube kept hitting him on his own Fan Channel I called my contact and he tried to fix it but we still had issue.

musti musti
(27:52) Hey Aaron, i have a question about my Atem Sdi Extreme Iso…..There is a Timecode Option in the Software Control…My Problem is, that i have 3 Ultimattes, a Hyperdeck HD Plus….Mx Camera with Timecode

musti musti
(28:02) from a Tentacle Sync….etc…But how do i get the Timecode into the Atem

Hardy Media
(29:57) Q: Have you tried BM Camera Setup 8.7_b1? BPCC4Ks uploading to BMCloud & automatically into Resolve projects is way cool. Using USB-C to ethernet cable.

David Martin Graff
(30:59) Have we been duped by MPA by not allowing our Wifi DSLR/Mirrorless cameras to find, connect and cast these camera screens instead of buying a HDMI extender REPLUGGED

David Martin Graff
(31:26) Amazing how much better electronics were in the middle of last decade, 20014, 2015, 2016, and 2017. So many gotchas today you buy something new to take two steps backward for one step forward.

David Martin Graff
(31:35) Sony came out with a recent firmware for its A7S3 and it literally bricked the camera!

IT Never Gets Old
(34:30) POE cameras, Companion etc. makes things so easy

IT Never Gets Old
(34:33) Yeah stuff like the Director Mini and the Yolobox are amazing for portable gigs

TricksandKicks
(40:10) I run into this all the time especially when they want a confidence monitor

IT Never Gets Old
(40:55) Q: The OSEE Duet with the SDI and HDMI might be the answer

IT Never Gets Old
(43:04) Q:Of course there are those who say that an all NDI solution would make duplication easy.. but networking is always a complex issue on remote gigs

Sanginova Productions
(43:42) Blackmagic Bidirectionals and Decimators are lifesavers for quick conf mon setups

CircuitBaker
(44:04) Could you do a pros and cons for the osee vs the atem extreme for this application?

Gwen Park
(51:35) You can make Duet into an 8 input device with some tradeoffs. You can switch input x between SDI and HDMI but black flash when you do (so do off air) & you can't see inactive sources in MV.

IT Never Gets Old
(51:51) Q: I wonder how good the OSEE companion support is these days?

CircuitBaker
(52:17) Would you need a title screen for the room and a countdown for the stream?

WutrUduin?
(54:13) I've never seen anyone use the ATEM Mini series hands on. All using a computer or companion. I would like to know if someone who is used to a broadcast desk would find all those buttons useful.

WutrUduin?
(54:22) Or just an explanation from BMD on the design choice.

Emerald Audiovisual
(54:39) @Aaron Parecki also, with the Decimator, if you select free run as the timecode source for the scaler, then the Decimator doesn't kill the output signal, when the input is disconnected.

Gwen Park
(54:54) I usually use more than one switcher when I need to do projector and livestream. Unless there's IMAG, I'll do projector with Ecamm to bring less gear since latency isn't a concern

Gwen Park
(55:08) But it would definitely be nice to have a small hardware device that did it all!

Robert Linkroum
(55:13) The OSEE • DUET would be perfect if it also had 1 SDI Output.

Kanan St.Rose
(55:46) Q have seen APC-R Mini ? it allows you to turn your DJI gimbal into a PTZ camera.

musti musti
(55:57) Thanks for answering Aaron….i recently downloaded your Chrome Plugin for comments…Is there a Way to time the Chat Overlay so that it disappears automatically?

Petra Verbruggen
(56:43) I had exactly the same ATEM. Limited yes, but gamechanging

VideoBuff
(57:25) Q Is there any way to record the output from a camcorder on the YB Ultra while also recording on the camcorder?

VideoBuff
(57:47) Q Camcorder just shuts off the hdmi feed to the YB Ultra as soon as I hit record on the camcorder. Camcorder model is Sony FDR AX43a. I’m guessing not but just hoping there may be a clever workaround.

MattWRuff
(58:42) Q: Aaron did you see the release of the new Sony Camcorder "Sony PXW-Z200" - 4K120 & 1080p240 High Frame Rates and 20 Optical zoom (1 inch sensor)

MattWRuff

Petra Verbruggen
(59:55) Check out the Allen & Heath CQ12T for a more all round yet small audio mixer

MattWRuff
(1:00:30) @Petra Verbruggen Love Allen and Heath but Mackie has some small mixer that would work as well

Robert Gibson
(1:02:44) You need a 2 ME switcher: ME1 - Stream / ME 2 - Video Projector

Sanginova Productions
(1:03:12) At my venue we use the Extreme Aux for screen so they can hot punch if we need a specific source. My personal Extreme rig has a button for every source to aux on companion

Диагноз Виленского
(1:03:34) Q Have a problem streaming from my Panasonic Lumix Gh5m2, please advise on Panasonic software (very restrictive)

Nils Braune
(1:05:03) Compared to older camcorders in the price range the Z200 looks pretty great.

TauJi- ताऊजी
(1:05:21) Q:- what camera would you recommend for a 24x7 live stream. Outdoor sports setup.

Bailey Stone
(1:07:27) Hey all! Made it to a stream

a
(1:07:34) 24x7 sounds like flag-pole sitting or endurance things like that. ⛳

Tim Brunet
(1:07:41) Aaron-- Im an Old School Video Artist. Im trying to get my Old School V-4 Edirol Mixer Into my Apple Pro M1--THe Edirol output is Composite. Any ideas on how to convert?

Emerald Audiovisual
(1:09:16) @Tim Brunet Blackmagic have analog to HDMI / SDI

MattWRuff
(1:10:21) I worked the 24 hour race at Daytona which is about 27 hours and we only had 2 crews so you work a 10 go to bed and then get up and finish it off (a team) (b team just did the graveyard shift)

IT Never Gets Old
(1:10:36) Q: The only benefit to using a capture device is that you could de-interlace the composite for better quality

Tim Brunet
(1:10:50) Thanks YES. Perfect

Gerhard Kostrewa
(1:12:04) Q Now is the time to smash the Like Button!

IT Never Gets Old
(1:18:12) Q: OSEE has that new two input switcher

Robert Linkroum
(1:18:16) New - OSEE • GoStream M2 Dual 4K USB 3.0 HDMI Capture Card

James Kreul
(1:18:21) Apologies if this came up already: Osee GoStream M2 Dual 4K USB 3.0 HDMI Capture Card, 2.1 HDMI Splitter/Switch Record

Grant Butler
(1:20:39) If you could find it used, the non HD and non 4K Web Presenter was a simple 2 input switcher

Andrew Francis
(1:20:52) Perhaps you could do your hold slide idea with abusing Brightsigns? The bigger ones have HDMI capture.

a
(1:21:05) I say point a camera at the screen of the Mac SE and be in less trouble/danger trying to get direct video signal

Bifuteki
(1:21:12) Hey everyone! Just wondering what camera is that behind you?

MattWRuff
(1:22:09) @Aaron Parecki There a guy at MIT who makes a box just like (Custom box worked great) Have no idea if he's still there.

Bifuteki
(1:22:29) You want a capture card that when it loses signal it shows an image. Try the magewell procaptures!

IT Never Gets Old
(1:24:49) Time to get some venture capital and add to the PK product line

Andrew Francis
(1:26:24) This week on stream we are on part 7 of programming FPGAs.

AlonzoJT
(1:26:32) The Rode newcomer is about to be released …

Nils Braune
(1:26:52) @Aaron Parecki The Roland SR-20HD is a weird device that they market for conference streams.

AlonzoJT
(1:31:35) There’s no multiview on SR-20 unfortunately. And Peogram is what you see in the stream and on the HDMI Output. It can’t be different(like an aux)

Grzegorz Ignatowicz
(1:31:50) is second block diagram audio?

AlonzoJT
(1:32:41) It’s only a preview. Not configurable

AlonzoJT
(1:32:54) Sr-20hd has webcam input as well

AlonzoJT
(1:33:49) I told Roland: ask AARON! Lol

Gwen Park
(143:56:36) Thanks for the stream, Aaron!

Gwen Park
(146:03:14) Thanks for the stream, Aaron!
