(41:52) One question I had is is it metal or plastic? hard to tell visually.

(42:55) It's like a hybrid between the ATEM Mini and the AVMatrix.. It has the same type of onscreen menu, the PVW/PGM bus, 2 HDMI out, etc

(43:26) Jurijs: probably because the atem mini essentially invented the affordable video switcher market so all the others are now copying from them

(52:05) I agree the lack of an API is the GoStream’s Achilles heel. We need Companion &/ MixEffext. Other than that it checks all the boxes.

(55:34) I'm curious about those Mic/Line inputs as well, but I suppose you aren't set up to test audio... Would love to know if they can take a balanced mic, have phantom power, etc.

(1:01:32) @sven somewhere in between it seems. They have done monitors for a while but this is their first switcher. And maybe they’ve been an Oem?

(1:28:18) I like the onboard menu. my biggest gripe about the ATEM is that I have to use a Windows or Mac for the companion software.

(1:40:27) killer use case for this is if you want a SUPER light and clean kit - either for travel or so you can leave in an unsecure area where you wouldn't want to leave a nice laptop.

(1:45:20) I know what does 720p - the aforementioned Roland V-02HD acts as a surprisingly useful technical video test generator, lots of different rates, sizes, ramps, bars, tones, etc

(2:21:20) One thing i really like about my AVmatrix HD0402U is that i can set a source for the multiview output, and there is a panel button to switch between that source or the multiview.

(2:21:43) Q if I buy 4 of those PTZ usb webcams, can I plug them directly into the switcher using an additional plug like a USB to hdmi converter? and use this completely standalone without any computer?
