Questions
Eric Likness
(4:52) I can tell that background music is in stereo. Nice.
Michael Flotron
(5:00) Seems like you got a good amount completed in those 2 hours haha
TVJAY
(5:34) Q: is there a way to find the whole stream from yesterday? I only see part 3 on Instagram
Philip O.
(6:57) Nice monitor in the background
Graham Rule
(7:12) Yesterday was the first time I'd use Instagram. I'm not impressed.
Eric Likness
(7:22) video/audio is working 👍
Paweł Przybylski
(7:24) Audio levels are fluctuating?
Michael Flotron
(8:41) Yeah as an IG live viewer, it ALWAYS gets out of sync after more than 10 minutes or so
Chris W
(9:01) Q: what stand is everything on?
Eric Likness
(10:10) Microphone DOES sound different than past Sundays.
Paweł Przybylski
(10:49) Mic is picking up air flow caused by your gesticulation. I guess these fluctuations might have been because of your movement changed distance in relation to the mic
Michael Flotron
(11:02) If I close and re-open the stream it syncs up again. Just annoying.
Philip O.
(11:15) Q: What is the random number/character combination at the end of your video description for?
Philip O.
(14:35) This is actually a great idea
Scott Jarriel
(14:44) Q: Your mic seems to be more directional now, with your levels fluctuating as you turn your head away from it.
Eric Likness
(14:58) Mic sound is like "room tone", hearing reverberation of the room walls? Perhaps.
showGproductions
(15:18) @Aaron Parecki Q: Is the Freeworld T7 still your favorite small battery powered monitor that works well with the ATEM Mini Pro?
Michael Musonda
(16:39) Q: have you come across with a LiveU solo? I would like to hear more about it from you explaining, I have network problem when streaming, what to know if it can be a solution for me.
David Hunte
(17:19) @Aaron Parecki - Are you getting the Rodecaster Pro II and how would it impact your production?
onocoffee
(17:40) Q - suggestions on using the RCP with ATEM MiniPro for audio? More importantly, how can I monitor the stream audio? I am using video from laptop as well as an input in the ATEM.
Nils Braune
(18:23) There might be more reflections from the big monitors. And the "air movement" is probably breathing onto the mic, but overall the sound is fine.
6 Minute Media
(20:19) Q: The mic arm is touching your desk and we can hear you typing, not the keyboard but the desk.
Tech Condo
(20:58) Ah, it can also be a cool backdrop for gear shots. The desk
Eric Likness
(21:16) @Michael Musonda , Tech Condo/Petra Verbruggen has coverage of Live U on their channel if that helps.
Andy Asquelt
(21:47) that Aarons comment on lenght of that review was funny. in context of 2.5h long lives :)
Tech Condo
(22:55) Oh seriously, that Yolo Max is epic
IT Never Gets Old
(26:00) Q: A three display setup with the computer in the center might keep your head centered
cybershadow81
(26:22) Q: What's you recommendation on a monitor that works on 1080p30 with high brightness? I need a confidence monitor that works in a well lit area.
Chris S
(27:49) @Aaron Parecki I'm looking forward to the rewiring live stream when you get your new Atem HD Constalation.
MT Steuerung
(28:52) @Aaron Parecki .. you mean the Seetech Atem156 .. it's a 15,6" Monitor HDMI 4 in - 4 out ..
onocoffee
(29:11) Q - Curious to learn how you monitor the stream audio in this setup?
onocoffee
(31:06) @Tech Condo Do you mean the visual representation? I'm looking to find a way to hear the audio in headphones, but I have not been successful.
Emerald Audiovisual
(31:20) @onocoffee as you don't have a headphone jack on the atem (only the extreme and extreme iso have that), you would need to pick up the audio on a device, that you're using on an output.
Michael Flotron
(32:05) I think we have the same Dell ultrawide w/ the white back haha. I couldn't tell for sure
Michael Flotron
(32:11) oh nvm. It's not ultrawide
Shahen Sayadian
(32:38) I work with Ups, we are not working tomorrow, but UPS store maybe
showGproductions
(33:04) @Aaron Parecki Q: Do you have a video that shows how to add YouTube comments to your live stream?
onocoffee
(33:45) Q - Is it correct that you are solely using the Sanken C02 mic today?
John McLauchlan
(33:55) could you not drop off the Amazon package at a kohl's
IT Never Gets Old
(34:54) Q: Do you think the videohub is going to go away when you get the New switcher?
John McLauchlan
(39:56) is there scalers built into the inputs on the constellation
Michael Flotron
(41:08) I'm so tempted to get the 4 M/E but the 2 is just so much more portable haha
Lesantir Personal
(41:34) @Aaron Parecki I think you should use the videohub to control the displays in the room so if you have a issue with the switcher it doesn't take down your displays and most of the important stuff
onocoffee
(46:39) Q - is switching on the Constellation via the physical buttons or the ATEM controller on the computer?
Tim McAlpine
(47:40) Q: Have you taken noise into consideration from the 4ME? I have an 8K Constellation plus a 40x40 Videohub in a rolling rack and had to move it out of the studio into a closet. It is incredibly loud.
onocoffee
(48:37) Q - indeterminate delivery time on Constellation, how much longer for the conversion to white faces?
WutrUduin?
(48:59) Q: Can you round the corners of a supersource box?
cybershadow81
(56:16) also don't forget the DSK
cybershadow81
(56:28) also don't forget the DSK
Eric Likness
(56:35) The magic is revealed, pixel perfect iphone PNG positioning. The PNG even has a bit of drop shadow near the bottom.
brian O'Gott
(56:43) Nice effect talking through a video call on a phone. You look like your own guest.
Tech Condo
(57:00) Looking at that clean ATEM Control software, you will be shocked when you get the 4 M/E. The 2M/E is already a shocker
Amaury Jacquot
(57:21) @Tech Condo it's always clean, it's just that there is loads of functionnality
John McLauchlan
(57:28) the joys of messing with setup during the live feeds
cybershadow81
(57:38) Q: Are you running your studio in 29.97 fps or in true 30 fps? What does YouTube expect?
MORVIN JOHNSON
(58:04) Good day
Andy Asquelt
(1:00:51) it was waaay out of sync. only for a Zoom part.
WutrUduin?
(1:01:49) Yes. Liked each of them very much.
Eric Likness
(1:03:55) Yes, OBS = 50%, Zoom = 80%, and Xair =30% something's got to give, and that was 500ms audio latency delay.
Amaury Jacquot
(1:04:14) @Aaron Parecki solution: run that OBS on a separate mac mini
Bailey Stone
(1:04:54) @Aaron Parecki - your audio is dropping out on my end randomly. Just for less than a second
Femi Palmer
(1:05:02) What are the specs on your computer?
Andy Asquelt
(1:05:51) but now that Mitti has a browser source... ;)
Eric Likness
(1:06:00) Audio is good!
Michael Flotron
(1:06:01) No audio problems here...
brian O'Gott
(1:06:02) audio - no problem here.
Nils Braune
(1:06:02) No dropouts here.
John McLauchlan
(1:06:03) audio is good
Scott Jarriel
(1:06:04) No dropouts that I hear.
Bailey Stone
(1:06:05) Oh ok. Must just be me. Troubleshooting time 😂
Michael Flotron
(1:06:10) Hoping to replace a Mac Mini and MacBook M1 with the new M1 Max that just shipped Friday! SO excited haha
cybershadow81
(1:06:17) Is OBS already optimized for the M1?
David Hunte
(1:06:26) Q: Is there any news on an update to the ATEM MINI line?
Amaury Jacquot
(1:09:42) @Aaron Parecki the videohubs need updates
cybershadow81
(1:10:32) Q: Have you recognized the Television Studio Pro HD and the Television Studio Pro 4k have been taken off the Homepage?
Christopher Lai
(1:11:18) Q: you think they might merge the Extreme with hyper deck to be the TV Studio?
Amaury Jacquot
(1:11:39) @Aaron Parecki for the videohubs, they will want to change the FPGAs for generational / prices reasons
cybershadow81
(1:11:57) @Aaron Parecki The Television Studio Pro HD is the one with integrated Panel
Eirik Dalhus
(1:12:17) I currently have the ATEM 4M/E 4k and i want to get "scalers/converters" on the mixer and i dont want to go for the 8k Const or the HD Const.. waiting for a 4k version
Michael Flotron
(1:12:48) I need to 3d print a cage for 4x HDMI to SDI converters + USB hub haha. I almost always need a handful
Lesantir Personal
(1:14:33) @Aaron Parecki I think the ATEM 1M/E constellation HD should have just been called the ATEM constellation HD... and then 2M/E & 4M/E
Tech Condo
(1:14:45) I would now love to see a Micro Advanced Panel 1 M/E. Same as the AP but without the top part
Amaury Jacquot
(1:14:53) @Tech Condo the expensive part is the buttons and T-bar, won't change the price much
Tech Condo
(1:14:56) Sigh, you might be right
WutrUduin?
(1:14:58) Gotta remember that before the Atem Mini, they were primarily making pro studio stuff. Which wants every device separate so they can replace the one problem component at a moment's notice.
Michael Flotron
(1:15:32) Q What software do you use to design your 3d prints?
Christopher Lai
(1:19:11) Q: when will the A/C be installed?
Philip Luckey
(1:19:47) I’d like an ATEM mini with no buttons , no power, no inputs, and no outputs!
Jade Finch Scene
(1:19:57) I would like to see an ATEM mini with no buttons except power. I have my ATEM mounted behind my desk and out of reach...
Andy Asquelt
(1:21:25) just slap decksaver on top :)
Amaury Jacquot
(1:21:32) @Aaron Parecki you could get a plenum split unit that doesn't take space inside the studio
WutrUduin?
(1:21:53) @Jade Finch Scene I usually want something similar. And then today, ironically, I got distracted and couldn't find my FTB button quick enough and had to reach for the one on the ATEM.
Jonathan Palmer
(1:22:05) Q - this may be a LOFT (lack of friggin talent) ha ha but do you ever have an issue with Hollyland signal into input 1 or 2 on ATEM?
Felix S
(1:22:55) @Aaron Parecki We are also having issues now with the M1 Macs … ProRes LT videos encoded on the M1 do not seem to be playing back smooth on the hyperdecks …
jhb
(1:23:22) Q: extreme iso SDI?
Felix S
(1:24:25) @Aaron Parecki … using ProRes 422 now … :D That is our solution for now
Philip Luckey
(1:24:33) For holly land: try running signal through converter (decimator, etc) before input to ATEM mini — might “adjust” signal enough to fix it
IT Never Gets Old
(1:25:07) Q: Has the building started on the new house?
Christopher Lai
(1:26:21) Funny thing is you got permits before the load is done….
anomalily
(1:26:57) SO CLOSE
Christopher Lai
(1:27:54) WHAT!? $80k!!!!!!
Jade Finch Scene
(1:28:02) 80 grand for permits?!!! wow. that include impact fees and such?
cybershadow81
(1:29:01) @Aaron Parecki Still waiting for a use for the Sting Button of the Mini Extreme.
Philip Luckey
(1:29:14) Fastening seatbelt for channel shift…
anomalily
(1:29:28) I am streaming early but I'm not even doing anything fun anymore because I have covid again
anomalily
(1:29:35) Ironically, I used to be on the Portland Budget Committee that relied on those fees...now we're paying them
Jade Finch Scene
(1:29:42) does anyone here do things the easy way?
Graham Rule
(1:29:47) How are the home appliances being interconnected? CAT6/HDMI/SDI ? @Aaron Parecki
BensTechLab
(1:30:05) Oregon "no sales tax". They will get the taxes some how!!
WutrUduin?
(1:30:28) I don't have an extreme, but aren't inputs 1 & 2 the ones you send to the outputs with no delays or processing?
Femi Palmer
(1:30:31) @Aaron Parecki Hollyland also caused me issues on input 1 & 2. Apparently it’s due to the scalers on these inputs.
WutrUduin?
(1:30:38) I don't have an extreme, but aren't inputs 1 & 2 the ones you send to the outputs with no delays or processing?
Emerald Audiovisual
(1:31:01) Q: i thought Oregon doesn't have sales tax ?
WutrUduin?
(1:31:16) my brain won't do easy. I wish it did. I rely on other people to tell me I'm taking things to far.
