(25:38) q. I am building a streaming platform using Ant Media (fork of Red5) it does RTMP ingestion and outputs using WebRTC /HLS /DASH etc .. it works well, curious if you have any view platforms like these?

(28:32) the latency is 0.5 a very good .. I'm going to move to a dedicated hardware box so I can use the Intel quick sync hardware encode

(31:09) Owncast is something I've seen one person use. It seems pretty, o.k. I've only just watched hosted stuff people would post/transmit through Owncast they had in cloud, or on a host.

(31:18) Owncast is attractive for anyone who wants to reclaim their data. Owning it truly and not having a social media platform intervene.

(37:42) Aaron - not clear, are there problems you're having with livestreaming on YT that you want to move to another?

(39:52) @onocoffee I think Aaron wants to provide an added "Membership" level benefit that isn't owned/controlled by YT. Owncast is one pathway to that.

(41:17) HLS streams with multibitrate videos have more delay… upto 40 sec in Wowza Streaming Engine hosted on our dedicated servers. That’s actually due to transcoding happening at the server end.

(1:27:55) Q: Mevo to Magewell using NDI - Did you try it out? Looks like the Mevo is a relatively cheap way to get into NDI cameras.

(1:29:36) Q: how much bandwidth would owncast need to do this stream? (currently 151 people watching) wouldn’t a VM provider complains about usage?
