(27:56) Just use a fresh card on the PI and download the full image from the companion website that way you have a complete backup

(39:25) Biggest hurdle I see is monitoring too. Not really possible the way it was intended

(39:40) With a bigger mixer, you might be missing out on some of the knee features like compressing and limiting, but I would recommend getting a hardware compressor/limiter to go in the chain. Anyway

(1:13:58) @Wilex Roger "most effective" is pretty subjective. First question is, how are communicating with the remote guest? Zoom, flypack, etc. Your source will determine the rest of the chain.

(1:31:31) It seems like HDMI came in for the pro-sumer market and they just went hog wild and trying to make it fir when they started selling so much after covid.

(1:31:47) I moved to fiber cause sdi is also limiting. But fiber cables are really fragile do still looking for cables that don't break easily

(1:31:55) SDI cables are probably the reason why small productions don't use them. You can buy HDMI cables everywhere. You will never find SDI cables at a store because most people make their own.

(1:32:06) The only thing HDMI has that SDI hasn't is the control channel (CEC) hat BMD uses for camera control. With SDI you need to connect two cables instead of one.and depending on your switcher a DA.

(1:32:17) SDI devices are also more $$$$, which isn't friendly to small productions

(1:32:44) Q: have you tried adding the PTZ stop command to the release of each direction button?

(1:33:09) I have to say the Zoom level on the OBSbot is pretty good. Maybe not as much as a Canon/Panasonic, but darned good.
