(18:10) GFCI detects difference in current between hot and neutral. This means it’s either shedding to ground or through your body into the floor. (dropped hair dryer in a sink full of water, etc)

(19:21) @Aaron Parecki Separate wires and fuses are because appliances in the kitchen consume a lot of electricity. If you do daisy chaining you can overload the circuit.

(21:39) @Aaron Parecki I watched a video last week where a certain dangerous wiring hack can fool one of those testers. I hope you get to physically check each outlet. Find one bad one, may be others.

(44:16) Field use terminology for what you’re explaining is that the outlets were pigtailed but GFCI requires removing the pigtail to protect both outlets.
