(30:01) @Aaron Parecki one time, my computer was fine, but OBS died and it automatically ended the stream. It was a nightmare.

(33:07) @Olubayo Olasokan — stream to an RTMP proxy which replicates the stream and ends it to the two destinations.

(33:08) I use Windows Pro and never had it reboot on me randomly

(33:15) There is a function and the windows update section that turns that off for automatic reboot it will just download the updates and wait for you to say went to install and reboot

(34:13) It's totally possible to stream from PCs, you definitely need to make sure to have a PC that's built for reliability: ECC RAM, professional grade CPU (Xeon, Ryzen Pro), workstation grade mainboard etc

(54:20) @Aaron Parecki — if you tilt the camera lens downwards slightly, you can leverage the parallax effect so that you look just below the lens at the screen, & you’re still making eye contact.

(57:37) @Aaron Parecki - I discovered the Lilliput FA1016 monitor which I have just purchased with a Glidegear - based on your setup. FA1016 is a cheaper A11 without scopes for $300. Same case and screen.

(1:02:52) @Aaron Parecki — I do as much of my actual computing on the iPad Mini because it’s just rock-solid. I like my MacBooks, but I love the simplicity and reliability of the iPad.

(1:09:37) @Aaron Parecki - Only downside with using a cloud service like StreamYard is that you don't have a local recording of the program feed like you get with the ATEM, in case of internet outages, for ex.

(1:14:50) M1 Mac mini has been running for a while in this setup, in the this equipment config and routing. That's been a lot of live streams without crash/reboot. So I blame software.

(1:15:40) Recording to the Atem Mini Pro has been awesome. Also, thanks for your video on grabbing the files straight off the Atem via SFTP.

(1:25:46) @Aaron Parecki — you can set up sshd and/or ARMS to allow remote logins prior to local authentication. But it requires some extra dorking around.
