Christian Olivier
(6:00) Hello from Belgium did you change time already?

Rich Davis
(6:51) Yay! I can make it like due to daylight saving taking this to 5pm in the UK!

Carl Wikman
(7:16) Greetings from Thermal, CA !!! Passed my FAA pt 107. How goes your droning?

KrazyKaleb Hawkins
(8:42) Yea 4am is rough

Thomas Matysik
(8:47) hi from Auckland, New Zealand

Graham Rule
(10:42) Hi from Edinburgh, Scotland. Another couple of weeks before we switch to summer time here so nearly missed this.

Nutmeg Notebook
(10:48) Hello Aaron

David Joshua Ford
(10:55) Gday from NYC!

Sven Lakemeier
(13:14) Huh, early stream. Hi from Munich

Cliff Adams
(13:28) Q: Can you talk about using OBS with ATEM Mini Pro ISO?

WutrUduin?
(19:10) @Aaron Parecki I think you right click on the video window that you want on another screen and the option is in the context menu.

Cliff Adams
(19:25) Q: Can you talk about using OBS with ATEM Mini Pro ISO?

Eric Likness
(20:16) What! the heck.

Christian Olivier
(20:24) Q: How heavy is OBS for mixing web page on the computer (CPU), would an old Macbook air suffice ?

Mrsimul8er
(22:50) Q: Did you watch the Blackmagic webinar

pepemiranda
(23:18) @Aaron Parecki Q: Do you still recommend the normal ATEM Mini? is it possible to make Supersource?

Rich Davis
(24:44) Q. It looks like you can't use two BMD UltraStudio 3G Monitors for Key and Fill? As OBS doesn't allow you to chose a second device for the key source?

Rich Davis
(25:40) Q. Shame, 2 x Mini so much cheaper than an Ultra Studio 4K....

cybershadow81
(26:51) It could be hard to synchronize Key and Fill if they come from tweo sources.

Mrsimul8er
(27:05) Q: what would you say is better for streaming Windows or Apple? (I am asking as I use both)

Roland Dobbins
(27:15) @Mrsimul8r — neither. Stream from an ATEM. ;>

Christopher Lai
(30:01) @Aaron Parecki one time, my computer was fine, but OBS died and it automatically ended the stream. It was a nightmare.

Roland Dobbins
(33:07) @Olubayo Olasokan — stream to an RTMP proxy which replicates the stream and ends it to the two destinations.

TVJAY
(33:08) I use Windows Pro and never had it reboot on me randomly

Street News Now
(33:15) There is a function and the windows update section that turns that off for automatic reboot it will just download the updates and wait for you to say went to install and reboot

Eric Zinkgraf
(33:39) Set up active hours.

mwestcc
(33:46) Pause Windows Updates for 7 days - on the Update Page

Christopher Lai
(34:00) @Aaron Parecki worse nightmare if it was a pay to view stream.....

cybershadow81
(34:13) It's totally possible to stream from PCs, you definitely need to make sure to have a PC that's built for reliability: ECC RAM, professional grade CPU (Xeon, Ryzen Pro), workstation grade mainboard etc

Patrick Chang
(34:34) Q: Any recommended iOS apps to do lower thirds and possibly to bring in the chat. I want to be able to stream from my Atem Mini Pro but not rely on a computer.

Patrick Chang
(37:41) Q: Any recommended iOS apps to do lower thirds and possibly to bring in the chat. I want to be able to stream from my Atem Mini Pro but not rely on a computer.

Patrick Chang
(40:57) @Aaron Parecki Very cool.. but you have to set it up on the computer

Joel S
(42:16) @Aaron Parecki: Flowics or SPX are also a good alternatives for browser graphics.

Jason Jolliffe
(42:34) Mind. Blown with the browser source overlay.

Clifford Bradbury
(43:13) Q Is there going to be a triplex time lapse demolition and new build?

Joel S
(44:25) Q: Does Yolobox support streaming for 9:16 ?

Patrick Chang
(48:36) I don’t know what’s plugged into this…. That’s when you know you have a lot of toys 😂

KrazyKaleb Hawkins
(49:13) Q: what your best way to get multiple monitors out of a Mac M1? External video card or the dongle life??

Rob Taylor
(50:42) Q:would you mind showing us what your main camera sits on, mine is above my monitor which always means I am looking up at it - I would prefer to look right down the lens

Patrick Chang
(53:54) Q: Is there a way for the chat messages to auto clear from the screen with your chat plugin? If not… feature request

Roland Dobbins
(54:20) @Aaron Parecki — if you tilt the camera lens downwards slightly, you can leverage the parallax effect so that you look just below the lens at the screen, & you’re still making eye contact.

Ian Morrish
(55:16) @Aaron Parecki You can use an Arduino Pro Micro to emulate Keyboard and send the keystrokes to login after delay from powerup.

(57:26) @Aaron Parecki You can use an Arduino Pro Micro to emulate Keyboard and send the keystrokes to login after delay from powerup.

Rich Davis
(57:37) @Aaron Parecki - I discovered the Lilliput FA1016 monitor which I have just purchased with a Glidegear - based on your setup. FA1016 is a cheaper A11 without scopes for $300. Same case and screen.

Clifford Bradbury
(59:23) Q Maybe you need to reboot the Mac after setting the login options at least once, maybe it lost setting on just power off having not written out?

Clifford Bradbury
(59:29) Q Maybe you need to reboot the Mac after setting the login options at least once, maybe it lost setting on just power off having not written out?

Christopher Lai
(1:01:00) @Aaron Parecki you were saying about reliability of streaming using computers?

Eric Likness
(1:01:53) Computer crashed, but the stream is still going! Score one tick mark for dedicated hardware.

Sven Lakemeier
(1:02:05) Running an unlocked computer and even saving the password in a microcontroller... this is making me nervous

Roland Dobbins
(1:02:52) @Aaron Parecki — I do as much of my actual computing on the iPad Mini because it’s just rock-solid. I like my MacBooks, but I love the simplicity and reliability of the iPad.

Clifford Bradbury
(1:03:33) Q So now maybe try power off and see?

WutrUduin?
(1:03:40) @Aaron Parecki the auto login not working when power is cut could be a feature. Imagine someone came in and just grabbed all your stuff in a hurry.

Patrick Chang
(1:05:41) Wow… Holy 1990’s !!

Patrick Chang
(1:05:53) Wow… Holy 1990’s !!

Scott Jarriel
(1:05:57) What could possibly go wrong😅

Roland Dobbins
(1:06:03) @Aaron Parecki — you can have it auto-login to a scratch account which isn’t authenticated to any of your important datastores/applications/sites.

Cliff Adams
(1:06:28) Q: Can you put the ATEM on the network using an ethernet cable into your cable router INSTEAD of usb?

Eric Likness
(1:07:08) Xair?

onocoffee
(1:07:32) I have to ask and am curious - is it not true that a lot of these are alleviated by using services like StreamYard, eCamm, etc?

Felix S
(1:09:26) Q: Unfortunately missed the hour earlier ...@Aaron Parecki hope you are good 🙂 Catching up now, can I send greetings to my future self?

Philip Meuschke
(1:09:37) @Aaron Parecki - Only downside with using a cloud service like StreamYard is that you don't have a local recording of the program feed like you get with the ATEM, in case of internet outages, for ex.

Clifford Bradbury
(1:10:20) Q Great it power reset worked (Im 3:45 behind now was cooking!!!)

Philip Meuschke
(1:10:43) Q: Are you planning on buying (or have you already ordered) the new Mac Studio from Apple?

Christopher Lai
(1:11:42) Q: what do you think of that Apple Monitor with a built-in A14 processor and a camera from the last iPhone line?

Sven Lakemeier
(1:12:47) you should do a repair run in disk utility after all these power cut tests are finished :)

pepemiranda
(1:12:59) @Aaron Parecki Q: Whats the best way to record the video feed of the normal ATEM mini, since the BMD Video Assist 3G is more expensive than the ATEM mini?

Eric Likness
(1:14:50) M1 Mac mini has been running for a while in this setup, in the this equipment config and routing. That's been a lot of live streams without crash/reboot. So I blame software.

Patrick Chang
(1:15:40) Recording to the Atem Mini Pro has been awesome. Also, thanks for your video on grabbing the files straight off the Atem via SFTP.

Patrick Chang
(1:16:12) @Aaron Parecki If it doesn’t auto login, you should still be able to SSH in and do a reboot from command line.

Professor
(1:16:56) Q: hey man i was hoping i could get your help on my stream, so i dont have missed frames or skipped frames and no dropped frames from my network aswell but when i turn my camera fast it becomes blurry

Philip Meuschke
(1:20:48) @Aaron Parecki - Another issue could be the bitrate of the stream rather than the shutter speed of the camera.

Professor
(1:22:35) Q: i mean ingame camera not my face camera sorry

Know Your Joe
(1:23:13) Q : When recording w/ ATEM Extreme iso what usb device do you write to?

Know Your Joe
(1:23:20) Q : When you record to USB w/ Atem extreme iso do you use an external hard drive, thumb drive or?

Roland Dobbins
(1:25:20) @Aaron Parecki — do you know if the software update for HyperDercks which supports mixed video formats/resolutions for playout is ever going to make it out? It’s taking a looong time . . .

Roland Dobbins
(1:25:46) @Aaron Parecki — you can set up sshd and/or ARMS to allow remote logins prior to local authentication. But it requires some extra dorking around.

Patrick Chang
(1:25:54) @Aaron Parecki is FileVault turned on. Sometimes that can be an issue because things are encrypted with the user account.

Tech Condo
(1:26:33) Q Can a 12 week old kitten be a stand-in gremlin? ;)

Cliff Adams
(1:26:48) Q: WITH respect to AUDIO -- does the Extreme have higher (stereo) fidelity than the Mini Pro? (I teach and perform music).

Jules Apatini
(1:27:26) Q. Can a raspberry pi be configured to run 2 different stream deck's with companion?

Olubayo Olasokan
(1:29:05) Q: I'm having an hour presentation at a live event that host will stream to YouTube. How can I stream with ATEM Mini ISO & Streamyard to the host destination and my YouTube channel simultaneously?

Professor
(1:32:21) TY for your time aaron have a great day! ❤

Graham Rule
(1:32:25) Good to see that your background hasn't been trashed this week. 😀

Kevin Hartzog
(1:32:31) Thanks for all the great info

drMattZappa
(1:32:33) I loved your auto camera switching with atem macro video, but can you program fades instead of hard cuts?

Eric Likness
(1:32:47) Mash those Like and Subscribe buttons folks!
