Woodturning Tool Store
(5:17) Q: I bought two of the BGH1's. Have you found a way to control some actions from a Streamdeck?

Delmixedit
(5:32) Bgh1s on the table?😅

IT Never Gets Old
(7:45) New studio layout?

Delmixedit
(8:12) Have kids I’m used to seeing messes in a house

brian O'Gott
(8:12) Q: MixEffect now (version 1.7.) runs in the background on iOS 16. Did you have a look yet? Mine used to lose connection to the Atem. Hoping for a change.

myEVadventures
(8:42) Q did you realise that you can’t update the firmware on the BGH1 you need to have a battery inserted even if you try the update over Ethernet (only found out when I tried)

ProCopy
(11:16) Picture quality seems to have dropped Aaron. audio is ok

Eric Likness
(11:23) Pic fine here too, on a Sony 32" TeeVee

brian O'Gott
(11:25) Quality is fine here. Maybe it depends on the recipient´s connection.

Noel Del Pilar
(11:36) A little more saturated camera color today, but looks good for Halloween. 🙂

Woodturning Tool Store
(12:45) We can't even tell that the lights are flashing from your front view

Philip Meuschke
(14:24) Q: How long did it take you to edit the final vlog, and how many B-roll shots were pre-planned vs. how often did you have to go searching for B-roll or stock footage to help fill out the storyline?

Peter Gillespie
(16:33) Good Evening, Missed the start, youre an hour earlier than i expected! clock changing!!!

Woodturning Tool Store
(16:48) The QR code in the lower third is too small to capture

Nathaniel Belles
(19:17) The fast shutter speed is what makes me think iPhone

Eric Likness
(19:24) I thought plane external was iPhone.

Time Off With Lee
(19:26) out the window of the plane

Eric Likness
(21:47) I'm going to say gimbal, so DJI?

cybershadow81
(23:12) not enough barrel distortion for GoPro.

Philip Meuschke
(23:17) For me, I’m guessing the DJI due to the not-so-great color & contrast.

Ryan Cheng
(23:24) the distoratiom like dji

Woodturning Tool Store
(23:25) I think the edge distortion makes me think the GoPro

Eric Likness
(23:28) I'm going to say gimbal, so DJI?

brian O'Gott
(24:32) The DJI ist the easiest to hold while eating

Nils Braune
(24:38) Not a huge fan of action cameras. I've got a DJI Action 1.. Not used it once. ;)

MT Steuerung
(24:48) @Aaron Parecki .. layers change .. just shift the layer one up .. the Layers will show in order they stack

mattwruff
(29:18) iPhone will do better in low light

brian O'Gott
(29:31) The Iphone has got the best auto settings.

cybershadow81
(29:32) The iPhone 13 is pretty impressive in low light.

Rich Davis
(29:35) Smooth panning suggest stabilisation...

Woodturning Tool Store
(29:49) It was well stabalized

Alex Hardy
(29:51) How I know as an iPhone there’s a lot of artefacts in the footage

brian O'Gott
(29:57) Q: did you use Filmic pro?

Philip Meuschke
(30:25) I picked the GoPro first, before the entire clip played and we got to the outdoor scene.

Scott Jarriel
(30:42) Just thinking about ease of use, the iphone wins for getting it out of a pocket and shooting a quick shot. I would assume the others are packed away.

Nathaniel Belles
(32:07) Q: you should check out the compression on the studio shots from the vlog. They are a bit rough

Nils Braune
(33:02) Now.. The question is if this is all out-of-camera footage.

Nathaniel Belles
(33:38) I had to do a double take that it wasn’t an issue on my end and watched it on two different devices lol

Woodturning Tool Store
(34:53) Q: What lens are you using on the overhead BGH1?

Rich Davis
(38:38) GoPro due to the lens distortion...

Rich Davis
(38:43) Go Pro not on the widest setting though.

Nils Braune
(39:06) For me it's always a coin flip between DJI and GoPro. Can't tell them apart.

Alex Hardy
(39:26) What gave it away was the colours and Wide angle

Breadoflife
(39:33) The low light smushed details gave it away I think

brian O'Gott
(39:37) With the iPhone you could use a Wireless Go II for a better sound.

Nils Braune
(40:16) No. Some scenes are still super blocky in the vlog.

Nathaniel Belles
(40:18) Just checked it out again, it’s bad right at the start of the studio shots: 1:05

Woodturning Tool Store
(41:07) Q: What zoom lens would you put on the overhead BHG1? I am looking at a zoom lens for my setup.

Nathaniel Belles
(41:53) My guess is that it missed a keyframe or something?

Nathaniel Belles
(41:54) Because everything else looks fine

Eric Likness
(41:57) The vlog compression artifacts don't make any sense. Lo,no motion has artifacts, high motion doesn't.

Rich Davis
(44:03) Action 2 worn with the cord you showed us...

Eric Likness
(44:07) neck lanyard, dji

Ari Shapiro
(44:08) Looks like you used that lanyard

mattwruff
(44:41) You were using the magnetic to have two hands

ProCopy
(44:45) stabilzation not as goot as GoPro

cybershadow81
(44:51) It's dangling from your neck while you use both hands to pack the cameras.

Scott Jarriel
(44:55) Seems to be mounted on a headstrap, so an action cam.

Nathaniel Belles
(46:14) The stabilization is too bad to be the GoPro

Philip Luckey
(48:56) Have you thought about exporting as ProRes file instead of compressing for YouTube ?

Ari Shapiro
(49:13) Is that the ‘other’ stuff you got? They said you were there at a good time

brian O'Gott
(49:42) 104 viewers - 21 Likes. Find the mistake...

Rich Davis
(50:17) I've always exported in ProRes from Resolve and then used Handbrake to covert to H264

MT Steuerung
(54:25) iPhone Audio would be a bit better ..

Rich Davis
(54:29) car is moving, background is not - standard GoPro stabilisation...

brian O'Gott
(54:36) Colors like a gopro, sharpness iPhone

Nils Braune
(54:38) Hyper sharpened.. I say iPhone.

Scott Jarriel
(54:41) Wide angle distortion looks like GoPro

SigawNa
(55:15) maybe your finger was covering the mic hole?

Rich Davis
(55:39) So, the conclusion. Use a GoPro if you need really good stabilisation. Use an Iphone 13 Pro for all other stuff if you don't have any other camera with you.....

Nathaniel Belles
(56:58) Q: are you able to show the interface you’re using from H2R for the polling? I think we would all be interested

Philip Luckey
(1:00:32) Next time, shoot the camera you’re shooting with, with another camera. And of course a camera to shoot THAT camera… I can see you covered with cameras like syrup on a waffle.

WutrUduin?
(1:00:51) q: Could you have put the necklace under your shirt for a bit more stability?

mattwruff
(1:01:58) @Rich Davis I hate GoPro but my use was back when I worked with NASCAR/Fox Sports

George Papadopoulos
(1:02:05) If you hold the item that you present closer to the table will your top camera work better with focus? (bigger distance from the lens/sensor)

Ari Shapiro
(1:02:39) DJI seems the most versatile with the lanyard but the iPhone is accessed fast and does a great job

Christopher Lai
(1:03:49) I thought in California can only thing on the windshield

Christopher Lai
(1:03:50) *can mount anything

Peter Gillespie
(1:04:04) Q for later on - what was the app for iphone to apple TV. - cant find it in the chat from last week or via search 😞

Nathaniel Belles
(1:06:15) Premium subscriber over here

Eric Likness
(1:07:45) Says ads with a count down

Ari Shapiro
(1:07:48) Premium here: still your love feed

Woodturning Tool Store
(1:07:57) yep got a 5 second removable ad

Breadoflife
(1:08:02) ad here, but i skipped it at 7 seconds

brian O'Gott
(1:08:22) I saw the ad and the clock runs on, so i saw it after six sec.

Raul Espinosa
(1:08:45) You loose the 7 seconds..

brian O'Gott
(1:08:46) yes , i lost the seven sc

Woodturning Tool Store
(1:08:47) No the time was lost; came back at 7 seconds

Breadoflife
(1:08:51) it came back to live

Kenneth Welch
(1:08:54) I am watching the two ads and I could skip it but I watched it and came back and the timer said 2 seconds

Kent Ashfield
(1:09:00) Saw an ad, and now I am no longer live with you by the length of the ad

IT Never Gets Old
(1:09:19) Playback returned to insertion point

Zach Schwartz
(1:09:39) No ad here

Philip Luckey

IT Never Gets Old
(1:16:15) Q: Do you have two ProConverts or did you bring home the one from the studio?

Nathaniel Belles
(1:16:25) Q: (if you get everything setup in time) Can you briefly discuss how your network/vpn is setup such that you can use ATEM Software Control remotely?

Jules Apatini
(1:20:39) Its Halloween echo guys

brian O'Gott
(1:21:17) I like the spooky echo. can still understand you.

Nathaniel Belles
(1:21:20) The glytchy audio feedback is very spooky

Eric Likness
(1:21:25) @Scott Jarriel and the slo' decay one each successive hello,....

anomalily
(1:22:06) Wanna help me set up my pumpkin carving camera on your stream

MT Steuerung
(1:22:16) @Eric Likness .. he got it ready in under 15 min .. respect

anomalily
(1:22:58) Just need positioning help

Eric Likness
(1:25:48) @MT Steuerung I am impressed, truly fast fingers and absolute command of the UI on ATEM software control and Companion.

Eric Likness
(1:25:56) @anomalily @Aaron Parecki pumpkin cam looks good 👍

Philip Luckey
(1:25:58) Aaron: Don’t forget to switch back her streaming destination to YouTube!

Woodturning Tool Store
