(17:04) @Aaron Parecki — I recommend the MKH50, if your budget stretches to it. If not, the AT4053B is a reasonable alternative. If you really need to save money, the Samson C02 is decent.

(17:50) @Aaron Parecki I got the XR16 and regret it - not as good USB connectivity as the larger ones.

(18:28) by the way - rockin' your PK1 Extreme stand with the hard drive addon for extreme mini iso - also loving it! makes the desk a lot cleaner - great work!

(49:48) Q: I got a ultra studio recorder 3G but I am having issues my mac to see it. I used a tb3 cable, allowed all security and it works with the BM record app but none of the other apps see it. Any ideas?

(1:22:37) Q: It's probably too much to do live, but next time you could try sending the receivers into your mixer so you can quickly switch and we get to see you play with the mixer settings.

(1:26:34) They all sound harsh and overdriven in the mids. Especially compared to the overhead pencils.

(1:27:55) @Aaron Parecki — DJII is OK, can possibly be sweetened via EQ. I’m still happy with the 1st-gen Rode. Would otherwise buy the newer Rode, or the Hollyland.

(2:00:13) @Aaron Parecki — one other point about these small wireless mics is that one can use them with 3.5mm headset or lapel mics. In that case, they’re just mini wireless packs, internal mic is irrelevant.
