(17:27) I am really curious if you’re able to adjust buffers on all these new SRT implementations. I know people love the low latency, but i prefer more buffer for more reliability

(18:56) More buffer means more memory, which would increase price point. Not sure they will give huge buffer size.

(19:03) @Eric most SRT devices I’ve used support up to 7 sec of buffer and that’s great for wireless/bonded solutions

(20:15) We were chatting before the start about the streaming bridges in the BMD TV Studio HD8 likely getting SRT in. Would be great to feed several SRT feeds from the Magewell Director into it

(20:38) So BMD are brininging SRT to the Web Presenter and ATEM Streaming Bridge, but the TV Studio HD8 was sold as having 8 Streaming Bridges in it - will it get SRT as well?

(20:52) And will they be able to send/receive SRT from any device or just from another BMD device?

(27:51) BMD ATEM product engineers at least know SRT is a good thing.

(28:14) It works with OBS which is already great.

(28:35) Q: Do you still have the Pearl Nano to test SRT to these devices with? That platform has been a big forerunner for SRT.

(28:59) I'd love SRT input into the ATEM as that would simplify connection from one of my cameras

(29:14) I’m testing out SRT on my webpresenter and streaming bridge as we speak

(30:34) Big difference on the SRT implementation is the liuft of the check for a specifc encoder name.

(31:28) now you need to match the encoder settings + profile but initial tests show it works with the pearl on the correct profiles etc.

(31:39) i do have to agree with you the access to the BMD team we had at IBC was quite amzing and suprising.

(32:01) @Tech Condo Web Presenter always had mysterious buffer filling up stall issues that I still haven't heard is actually fixed. Be curious if you have that and if SRT fixes it.

(32:45) I don't remember if the Magewell had a web UI or not.

(34:53) With that small screen I bet it is even harder to switch the show or control graphics than the Yolobox

(35:38) Magewll has a Webui + API + Remotecontroll trough Their hub ( we use this for encoders and it is awesome) doesn't even need a public IP

(36:31) oh and the hub is selfhosted and one time cost. so yeah quite awesome. Even does SRT to RTMP etc

(36:49) q I was driving home when you were talking about the bike stream and handheld camera. A ring mounted to the bike that the tripod handle could slip into so you can quickly grab or twist it when wanted.

(38:27) Q: Also vMix announced Zoom integration at IBC and it already has 4 x SRT - so we can now go Zoom to vMix then SRT to BMD - so we can bring multiple Zoom feeds into BMD - do think this would work?

(38:46) Bill why not use vMix to switch zoom calls and bring one output to BMD?

(38:52) @Tech Condo One SRT would be good - but we may need more

(38:54) Bill would use the 4 sdi outputs and just map a zoom input to the output in vMix. Than switch them on your atem

(39:11) Q. Can you stream to a streaming bridge and also use the hard outs like sdi? I have a ursa and it would be great to have streaming bridge as a back up if we lose a cable.

(39:57) does yolobox has shortcuts via keyboard? then you could develop hardware that emulate keyboard and control the yolobox

(40:45) Vmix also has 4 External Outputs now so you can do 4 Decklink outputs ( also announced at IBC)

(49:48) @Romke Hoogwaerts Twitch supposedly can, but it's limited to partners. YT has no problems with 4k

(49:55) Q: How does the CPU power compare between the Yolobox and Magewell? This may limit firmware enhancements between the two Android devices

(54:33) The Atem Mini works just fine on a bike or walking stream ... in your backpack with a decksaver and using mixeffect.

(54:47) A what issues have been addressed by the new ultra? Any issues resolved that craftcomputing pointed out? I see your comment on his video.

(55:19) Does the Ultra take PD power ? Because the Mini and Pro don't. They only support QC3.0

(55:58) Q: Have they considered any APIs for the Yolobox? So you could develop your own Android app that controls the hardware.

(57:48) q Is the charger you're using have only 1 thing plugged into it? Mine with multiple restarts charging on all devices when plugging something in as it reallocates power distribution between devices.

(1:05:01) @Camera Head Studios I think he uses the NDI capture app into a Magewell decoder that he then feeds to the ATEM switcher.

(1:05:28) Camera control is not possible, because Apple doesn't give the app access to the HDMI. The app only gets a canvas.

(1:05:43) q Question for all of you: If they add SDI, would you like to see it recessed in a hole for safety or sticking out of the back?

(1:18:43) Wireless Tx - Internal mic capsules are always hard to judge.

(1:23:28) I can hear a fan too on the Hollyland built in. Headset is much better and it seemed in sync to me. I heard you say EQ. Can you add a high-pass filter?

(1:31:39) I bet the Rode mics work at longer distances. It seems like they are blasting RF.. On badly shielded cameras it seems like they get bombarded. But it might be my imagination or a different problem.
