AriesMan
(11:19) Q:- Hello Aaron, Do we need to connect a PC to Rode Streamer X every time to use the smart pads or can we save the presets on device?
Keith Bennett
(15:38) Warm Fall drink! 🥤
Michael Flotron

Jarno Tiainen
(31:23) Q: Just got my first Hollyland Mars M1 Enchanced, but it did not include battery. What you recommend for chargerger, I found Smallrig VB99 for D-tap connection. Is this the correct one?
David Martin Graff
(32:28) Q: Aaron have you seen the Yolobox Extreme? What are your thoughts on the device, proposed price?
Airliners Live
(34:16) Im curious as to why the latest release from Rode is 1080p? with all the blackmagic devices also being 1080p, I really hope we get 4K units soon
Airliners Live
(37:30) yeah right now we use a streaming PC with 4K capture cards
AriesMan
(37:37) Q:- But can it process all 8 channels in 4k without lag?

Rocket Films
(39:45) Q. I run the live stream for things like the Gucci and Burberry fashion shows, Nike and many others. We only stream 1080.
Adam West
(40:02) There might not be a big demand for 4K streaming but there's a massive demand for 4K multi-cam production
PTRJAY
(42:53) The single box concept of the Atem is valuable over rack mount units
PTRJAY
(43:16) Double/Triple cost 4K Atem Mini would be attractive still. Even if you didn't want to live stream in 4K, you could atleast ISO record it off for later processing for YouTube etc
Airliners Live
(44:28) think we may be a weird use case, a lot of our viewers watch on TV at home - so its something which is requested a lot and makes a big difference to the clarity on large screens
David Martin Graff
(45:40) 1080p is still excellent on these live streams, I know my 4K Smart TV upscales anything less than 4K and it always looks great. Really the 4K issue was so 2012. 4K is great but cost/benefit still 1080
Razorbaby Media Creation
(45:55) A: The very first Question to answer for streaming is "Know your Demographic! Funeral/Visitation is 45 to dead using phone or walmart 23' fancy monitor!
Sergio The One
(46:05) Even YouTube is not great at 4K streams right now. I was watching a stream from a very large studio and it glitched bad until they were forced to switch to 1080
MattWRuff
(46:18) Old School using a Computer in the office. Maybe it my age but I HATE watching things on a phone. That why I got the Large iPad for those long flights to Africa.

(46:59) What is the proposed cost of the Yolobox Extreme?
VIDEOGRAMPOINTBIZ
(47:30) Q. My 2 cents: I'm a professional video producer since 1979, and freelance since 2002, doing broadcast material for TV. Not one client asked for 4K material for broadcasters are still in HD here.
Sergio The One
(47:46) With the ATEM ISO you can switch the footage to 4K in the Resolve project as long as you record 4K in camera.
Adam West
(48:53) A combined four channel hardware 4K recorder and vision mixer is the ultimate production dream
MattWRuff
(49:05) I've never seen a price EXTREME
Train Spotter
(49:13) HAve you tested Orange Pi 5 Plus?
Adam West
(50:08) Another requirement is streaming in 1920x1080 and 1080x 1920 at the same time. 4K makes this super easy without losing quality on the vertical version
Julien Tanguy
(50:27) I used an atem mini as a switcher to an actual cinema screen and outside of the weird aspect ratio 1080p was fine
Boah And Arrows Productions
(50:45) Hello. Thank you for your video. I wanted to ask a question, if you have a video switcher/ encoder, do you necessarily need an audio interface to bring in audio or can you take audio from the mixer?
Michael Flotron
(51:39) *meant to say 4K broadcast is at such a low *bitrate* haha
Michael Flotron
(51:48) Most broadcast 4K is at such a low resolution I feel like it’s pointless a lot of the times.
Andrew Francis

IT Never Gets Old
(1:07:06) Q: So here is the big picture question: while I understand the fun of testing, what would you really do with the results...if you are in a hotel room you have what you have...
London Drives

IT Never Gets Old

Pete Fraser
(1:27:29) You need to ask Rode to support Mjpeg on RCV. That would sort out obsbot cameras. It’s definitely possible in RCV
Hamburg Hafen Live
(1:27:40) I use OBS on Mac M2 with HEVC hardware encoder. With CBR the bitrate is never constant. When I set it to 10.000 it is most of the time at 15.000 or more. Do you know this effect or how to solve?
IT Never Gets Old
