(38:41) I've never had a crash with my YBE and it's always worked flawlessly. that being said we only use it for SRT and camera input

(38:48) we run 2 webcams and Sony camera through YBE and get about 4hrs out of the battery

(39:44) q; I watched the bike ride stream with the Speedify bonding, which was very flaky and spotty in terms of stability. What is your experience with that service? Was the Starling causing the issues?

(41:21) I’ve heard physical devices can be “accessed” (like at the airport) so there’s that in addition to VPN traffic.

(41:40) Magewell says stable version of firmware update is due this week, if not today, real soon. I didn’t run the beta though, did you?

(47:02) @Aaron Parecki - I see that some Livestreams have comments using YouTube short names with the @ sign. but you are still using channel names. how are you doing that??

(47:18) If one connection is high latency (or worse intermittent bad) that is the most difficult for bonding algorithms. It has to essentially delay the other connections.

(47:32) Q: If I connect an external audio interface/mixer over USB to the Director, I can use external mics, but does it also allow the USB device to be used for monitoring (instead of the 3.5mm jack)?

(49:15) I like YBU, because it has feature of TikTok and Instagram streaming simultaneously without using studio or RTMP. I use TikTok and Instagram app on YBU for streaming.

(49:39) The Rode guys in the uk have done a great job on the RodeCaster video software.

(58:02) I actually played around with monitoring on my DM. The audio headphone jack has a delay that’s unusable. I connected my Rode micro to USB-C and it worked without latency

(1:25:34) I don't like how focus changed on yolocam when you put battery in front of your face. A little slow to react and then very sudden change. Feels not organic

(1:25:42) To be fair, that may be the case with most cameras at default autofocus settings

(1:26:44) Pocket seems a bit sharper, cooler on my 4K QD-OLED monitor
