(16:27) @Lavarr King the only way I got regular and good audio is running audio through the Rodecaster and then USB into the yolobox (USB-A not C) (USB-C used to not work but I haven't test on 2.2.0)

(40:10) Q: can you control streamdeck software from companion? I know you can do the reverse (control companion via SD software), but I'd like to set up companion triggers for stuff w/o companion modules

(40:49) If you have an OBSBot Tail Air, I can confirm it's amazing at a set up like this one. It has mic input and SRT streaming. And the tracking is great if you need it.

(41:49) I haven't bought the Tail Air because I haven't figured out another way to add the NDI yet

(57:44) Blimey - mobile data is expensive across the pond. In the UK we can get unlimited data (inc. tethering), calls and texts for about $25. This is fast 5G.

(57:56) Q I use a Text file with data for the upcoming stream. Title, songs, etc., I have to copy/paste into many places. Text file guarantees no formatting gets copied. Would be nice automate more of that.

(58:18) Bonding feature is attractive to those streaming access to all three inputs. I only use cellular with Yolobox b/c I film from a isolated location, speed is 1g. Cellular in 2024 is different than 2020?

(59:00) I was thinking about making a file utility for companion to read files in a directory. then you could update media sources in obs. I have a directory of transitions that are similar

(59:23) Hadn’t realised data plans were so costly in US. At one of my church venues I get 100Gb down and 30Gb up…on 4g - much better than my home broadband. No capping!

(59:36) There not a usage cap or anything in the UK I used it enough. iPhone 14 is when SIM went away
