Grish
(7:54) Fan noise?
Aidan Comi
(9:42) Q: Do you store your filament in dry boxes?
Gwen Park
(10:17) Q: did you ever get the gear/figure out a good way to transfer mini DVs? I looked at an old stream and seemed like that was still TBD at the time?
Nils Braune
(11:09) A filament dryer is just a box that is being heated to 50°C.
Eksteen de Waal
(11:42) The new Blackmagic iPhone dock with Genlock. Canon's new zoom remote with SDK. ELGATO module and network attached options. Fun Smallrig handles. Aputure STORM 80C kit and new softbox structure.

IT Never Gets Old
(15:29) Aren't the INUX guys Prusa? I worry about the Bamboo online lock-in
INUX3D Manufacturing
(15:32) We have Prusa and Bambu
Aidan Comi
(15:47) @Andre Yanco Bambu Labs had a bit of controversy about online activation, but other then that I hear they're good
Aidan Comi
(16:01) Q: Is the RC Duo just stored there or does it have a part in the tape conversion?
IT Never Gets Old
(16:59) Yeah I do not like the idea of having to "activate" any printer, 3D or paper
Aidan Comi
(17:49) Q: Have you tried V3 of the NDI Camera app? It has a discounted price, but I wonder how it compares to RODE's new app
IT Never Gets Old
(19:29) This online... get their hooks into you... for marketing purposes or profiling is really nasty
Grilliam
(19:35) Q: what is the least expensive way to build a backpack. Encoder and router?
IT Never Gets Old
(21:31) I wonder if the ZowieTek can live off a battery pack
Eksteen de Waal
(22:25) What about just usojg Blackmagic camera app on phone….
Davinci Girl
(22:39) can you stop the audio sound of the printer please? its annoying and not necessary in my opinion
Andre Yanco
(24:14) Q:Only the partial beep gets heard sometimes
Grish
(24:42) The audio gate is the more distracting thing, not the noise itself
Grilliam
(24:52) I have that exact set up but I am bottleneckin at the router. I’m using the GL Inet MUDI router but it runs hot and cut off after like an hour
WutrUduin?
(25:49) build airflow into you backpack
Grzegorz Ignatowicz
(26:04) Q: what NAS are you running?
MattWRuff
(29:49) @Aaron Parecki you should have gone with Seagate Iron Wolf 20TB drives. That what I remade my RAID so I have like 90 TB of Raid 6 (being 66 I hade a rapid 5 fail/2 drives died)
Davinci Girl
(31:19) ??? Unify NAS ???
AIRLINE VIDEOS
(32:04) Hi Aaron. What are your thoughts about the Yolobox Extreme? Worth buying? Better than the Ultra?
Dave Martin
(33:30) Q: Is there a way to disable physical button presses on an ATEM Mini Pro so that it can only be controlled by bitfocus companion?
MattWRuff
(33:44) I think the Ultra is slight more stable at this point and time my Ultra is tuning beta v2.9.6 and NO issues
AIRLINE VIDEOS
(33:57) Is the software the same in each unit?
InPlaneSight
(34:31) we use the extreme for aviation and haven't looked back! so good for SRT
MattWRuff
(34:36) The extreme has Director mode
Davinci Girl
(35:02) I use as NAS UnRaid and Proxmox my personal own made Audiorecordings are 20 TB and for all just a 480 TB file Server
MattWRuff
(35:42) NO it's not on the Ultra
IT Never Gets Old
(35:43) What is Director mode?
Grish
(35:59) Q: do you monitor how much energy your studio uses? I know power is cheap here in the pnw, but still curious.
IT Never Gets Old
(37:02) Q: The the cloudpod now have some security or is it anonymous access only?
AIRLINE VIDEOS
(37:28) We have been having audio issues with the Ultra… so I was hoping maybe the extreme was something completely different.
MattWRuff
(38:13) @AIRLINE VIDEOS I use the RCP2 for audio and no issue
InPlaneSight
(39:38) Airline Videos - we don't use any audio wirh the Extreme except for what is coming through our RCP2 via USBC. we don't seem to have any issues in that respect. we mix it with the Wireless Go II also
MattWRuff
(39:47) USB to the A port not the C port
Gwen Park
(39:59) I dislike that different products call program/preview mode different things: director mode on YB, studio mode on OBS, preview mode on Ecamm, what the option says in ATEM software, etc.
MattWRuff
(40:32) The reason I don't use the USB-C that where my External touch monitor is used and you only one C port
The Building Sheriff
(40:39) Q: I work in UK TV outside broadcast - BBC, Glastonbury, Sky Sports and many others. When doing a live interview I would never look at anything other than a LiveU.
Bhavjot Singh
(41:01) Q: Would you suggest AVMatrix Shark S6 over ATEM lineup ?
The Building Sheriff
(42:43) Q: No cheap, but I would lose my job if it didn't work!
Gwen Park
(42:52) Q: curious if you or chat had thoughts about Canon c50 or Nikon ZR announced this week? Both seem like they'll be incredible cams in slightly different ways
Bhavjot Singh
(43:26) No there's no companion control sadly but they have their own web interface now
Nils Braune
(43:37) @Aaron Parecki I don't see AVMatrix in Companion.
MattWRuff
(44:02) Nikon ZR is a little weird. Gerald makes some very good points
IT Never Gets Old
(44:11) Q: So what is the BMD Iphone thing?
Robert Gibson
(45:49) Elgato is shipping the network adapter for the stream decks.
Aidan Comi
(46:07) Q: Do you think Companion control will ever come to the RC Pro II or RC Duo?

MattWRuff
(51:37) We had one of those years ago at a radio station
InPlaneSight
(51:39) call Aaron live with your questions lol
Andre Yanco
(51:45) Q:I used to do that with many analog cables and some soldering into a broadcast table 🙂 At university of course :)
anomalily
(52:51) Did you hear my vacuuming? Hope it didn't pickup
Andre Yanco
(52:58) Hello @anomalily 🙂 Only the footsteps :)
Gwen Park
(53:05) With BMD's track record of annoucing something vs. when it's actually available, we'll get the new features in 2035. lol
Nils Braune
(53:18) @anomalily Not over Aaron's loud printer. ;)
MattWRuff
(53:21) Can't we do that with Discord right now....
T.I.M. The Visualante
(53:37) Do a Telethon
Eric Likness
(53:39) @Nils Braune yeah the printer is LOUD
Bhavjot Singh
(54:00) Really need BM to bring back the SDI+HDMI versions of their switchers
IT Never Gets Old
(54:25) The STNG button on the Extreme ISO is coming.... sooooooon
Kanan St.Rose
(54:30) What's the name of that call in device?
Aidan Comi
(54:39) Or just call straight in to the RC Duo with CallMe Pro
Gwen Park
(54:50) printer is less loud on 2nd mic at first blush
anomalily
(55:07) It probably wasn't footsteps, probably when I dropped part of the vacuum
WutrUduin?
(55:13) Less loud when you don't talk. Background sounds more staticy when you do. I think I like the sound of the printer better.
MattWRuff
(55:23) You @Aaron Parecki and Tom Buck with your love of OLD tech. As a guy that had to work with all of this stuff I don't want to relive it. You can have your old tech
Aidan Comi
(55:36) CallMe Pro supports SIP, so you can do phone numbers
WutrUduin?
(57:52) Q Try slowing the decay on the gate of the mic you're using now.
Aidan Comi
(59:07) Q: Do you know if the CallMe subscriptions are per device or per account?
Andre Yanco
(59:24) Q:Well now that Rode people are also into Dante, next thing you know we will have more call in stuff for sure.
IT Never Gets Old
(59:30) If you do call-ins have to do that 7 second delay thing so you can bleep us
Clear Life Media
(59:45) We got to use the Live U 810 this weekend with antennas and 4 SIM cards. Never lost a signal and never dipped below 17,000 kbps on a 1080p60 stream for 8 hours. Insanely cool
InPlaneSight
(1:01:20) we used that in radio like 10 years ago lol. I think we had an even older model than that one!
Gwen Park
(1:01:41) Gate still seems a little weird, but liveable. I think printer noise may be calling more attention to the gate than would be otherwise
Andre Yanco
(1:01:53) Q:That was a cutoff.
Andre Yanco
(1:01:56) Q:Buffered and came back
Nils Braune
(1:02:08) But who has stricter policies? Youtube or the FCC?! ^^
IT Never Gets Old
(1:02:24) Has not come back here...Comcast
Gwen Park
(1:02:26) @IT Never Gets Old I've had periodic buffering today, but it's also coming back quickly. I thought it was me.
James Clark
(1:02:32) Frozen screen here.
Andre Yanco
(1:02:36) Q:That was the FCC cutting you off Aaron.
Kanan St.Rose
(1:02:54) what's the price ?
InPlaneSight
(1:04:29) no issues here in Australia
Eric Likness
(1:04:31) No buffer here in Western NY on Comcast
WutrUduin?
(1:04:44) @Nils Braune Good question. I would say YT is more annoying as FTC isn't using AI to analyze every broadcast and hit you with fines.
Eric Likness
(1:05:39) FCC doesn't own/operate ContentID and that's a good thing. 👍
IT Never Gets Old
(1:07:47) Yeah I would do the voicemail thing
InPlaneSight
(1:07:49) international calls are expensive...... lol
IT Never Gets Old
(1:09:45) Wow that is very cool!
MattWRuff

Gwen Park

Rossi
(1:11:22) Very expensive in Thailand !
